Louis was the best tech I have ever dealt with, he showed extreme professionalism and amazing craftsmanship.He gave me a crash course on how everything works and showed me how to maintain the door and he even CLEANED the garage. Working with A1 was a great experience from the start. The woman I spoke to to schedule service is was very pleasant. Louie our technician was wonderful. He was on time and very professional throughout our entire interaction. He preformed a thorough inspection and explained exactly what was wrong with our unit. We ended up replacing our unit and the install was done immediately Louie had all the models available in his truck so there was no delay. He even left the garage cleaner than when he arrived. A1 has gained loyal customers thanks to their professionalism and genuine care for their customers. We will be using them to replace our door in the near future.

Awesome service!! Awesome, knowledgable service tech, Matt; he's a true asset to the company. Hurricane Ian compromised/weakened my older model garage door and I was not budgeted for a total garage door replacement. However, Matt worked with me to design and install a complete refurbishment package - including wind and water mitigation - compatible with my existing door and fell within my budget. Grateful for the terrific service provided by Matt, who skillfully completed the replacement/installation of a new garage door opener. We have Louie E come out to our house to perform some maintenance on our garage door. While he was here, he pointed out a few things that could be replaced due to age and while he was talking to us, he never put any pressure on us to replace those items (which was refreshing). We ended up going with his suggestions and he was able to replace those parts in a timely manner. When all the work was done, Louie took the time to show us what all he did and tested those new pieces in front of us to make sure we were satisfied with his work. Louie was great and if we need any other garage door work in the future we will for sure call A1 Garage!!

I had an issue arise with my garage doors and i called Sunday afternoon, i don't remember the name of who picked up the phone but they were very helpful and found a way to get the service i needed the next day at a time i was home. Bryan came over to fix some issues with my springs in both my doors, in the process he spotted a lot of other issues present in my door we weren't aware of. He explained everything in detail and was very patient. Showed us what items had which issues and what the correct course of action was. At no point did i feel like he was trying to sell us anything we didn't need. He worked with us to find the best solution both in price and work. he was very respectful of the space he was in and took extra precautions to protect valuable items in the area. Very professional and worked very fast. I didn't know what to expect since I've never had garage doors serviced before but the customer service provided by Bryan and A1 has been nothing short of excellent.

My garage door spring broke Sunday night so we went online to schedule an appointment. Even though this was not an emergency, I got Monday morning. Bryan came out by 9:30. He was very pleasant, personable, and knowledgeable. He walked me through all the steps and recommended replacing worn parts but did not push for an up-sale. He was quick, efficient and clean, taking away all associated trash. I was very pleased with the service, workmanship and the cost was quite reasonable. Great customer service by the technician Josh R. and the office coordinator. They have a well coordinated system between the office and the field techs. I requested to get a call one hour before the tech arrived so I had enough time to get home to meet with him and that is exactly what they did. Once Josh got there, he introduced himself and we went to the garage where I explained my concerns. Josh gave me options on how to addressed the problem and once I decided which one I felt more comfortable with, he went to work. Very pleasant, efficient and great service!

Lloyd did an amazing job!!!Today my original garage spring broke and I called A1 Garage they sent me a technician in less than 2 hours from my call.Lloyd arrived and unfortunately they don’t carry the spring system I have, the original system is proprietary for another company that it have them in back order for 5 to 8 weeks.So we look through options and Floyd recommended to change the spring system and I did, now I have a new system that it will last 80k times and 10 years guarantee for a great price.I can’t no be more thankful, specially around Christmas.Thank you Floyd and A1 Garage Door

We called A1 Garage Door Service Orlando after our garage door motor made a horrible grinding sound and ceased to function. Lloyd came out this afternoon. He was very good at explaining the problem and showed us the plastic part of the 21-year old motor that had been thoroughly chewed up. Within about an hour, Lloyd had installed a new, beautifully quiet motor that came with LED lights and two new remotes, and he replaced the control box on the wall. He pointed out that we will also need to replace the wheels and springs before long. However, since those are not an emergency, we explained that we didn't want to replace them yet because we are in the midst of some other expensive house projects, so he lubricated them for us to help extend their life.It is obvious that Lloyd thoroughly knows his business, and he is very cheerful and helpful. I would recommend Lloyd at A1 Garage Door Service Orlando to anyone needing garage door repair. We will call him again the next time we need garage door service.

Nothing but the most positive experience! My 78 yr old mother called A1 to get service on her big garage door because it would not go up. Updated after repairs, read below.After listening to my garage door squeak for a few weeks I decided to have it looked into. The day of my appointment Lloyd, the technician, called me when he was 30 minutes away. Upon arrival he introduced himself and briefly gave me his background which I appreciate because it was easy to tell he was a seasoned technician. He went over the inspection with me and it turns out our framing is horrible. Our wood framing is split all up and down, and missing or lacking areas of reinforcement. It is very clear this was a DIY job done prior to us buying the home several years ago, it never would've passed an inspection had a permit been pulled. We'll be seeing Lloyd in a few weeks when he comes out to reframe, reseal, reinforce and de-squeak the door. I'll update the review soon after. For now I am extremely happy with the service A1 provided, from calling to schedule the appointment to Lloyds clear explanation of what needs to be done.Update: Lloyd came out to do all of the repairs just as he explained. He was here for several hours and then had to come back to finish the exterior trim the next day. It looks great, and sounds great (silent). It was an overall excellent experience working with A1! I highly recommend them for your maintenance and repairs.

I placed a work order because my opener control was working intermittently. That problem was taken care of. Additionally, during a test it detected the springs that aid with the retraction of the garage door were worn. It was suggested that. I have the springs replaced. I had the springs replaced and the garage door was tested upon completion and everything checked ok. The technicians performed a great job. Very experienced and professional. I would recommend A1 to anyone having garage door problems. Excellent work.

When I called A1 I was looking for someone to help me install my garage SCREEN door that i already purchased. The gentleman I spoke to said we can have a technician out today. But also said we offer financing just ask the technician about it. Puzzled? Financing? I already purchased the screen. What's there to finance?Within the hour Christian arrived.When Christian showed up he had never heard of or seen the screen. When I called I explained to the gentleman i spoke to about the screen he acted like his techniciancould help install it no problem. Christian was not able to. He was very friendly super cool. He tried to call other people to see if they had ever heard of my screen and or knew how to install it. No luck of course. Christian left because he was not able to help.My neighbors and I were able to install the screen that day. While doing so we accidentally knocked the garage door cable off the track. I called A1 back to set up an appointment to have Christian come back. I specifically requested Christian because of how nice cool and honest he was the day before. And he also wanted to see the screen when it was done. Very Very nice guy.They were able to schedule an appointment for the next day. Again the gentleman on the phone mentioned "financing".The next day Christian shows up. I was extremely pleased they sent him back. Most places say they will try and then send someone else.Christian was able to get my door fixed and it works like new again.The only reason I'm giving 5 stars is solely based on what an amazing guy Christian is. Conversation while he worked was great. (I'm a chatty kathy) The experience with him well worth 5 stars.Had he not been humble I would have rated A1 lower on the initial phone call. I'm still stuck on we offer financing. Again I had already purchased what I needed. You should not be suggesting financing when someone isn't trying to buy something. Both calls I felt like the gentleman on the phone had he came out would have tried to sell me whatever he could. If I needed it or not. To me not good business.Again Christians professionalism and personality gained A1 a 5 star review.

Christian is fantastic. Super nice, knowledgeable and accommodating. Whatever you're paying him, it's not enough. Thanks for getting here so quickly and not pushing unnecessary repairs and upgrades on us, instead explaining thing clearly so we could make an informed, value based decision. Please send Christian for our annual tune ups or any future, necessary repairs. Will definitely recommend.

Zach came out to install our new door and motor. He was very kind. He explained the process so I knew exactly what to expect. He verified that what I was getting matched up with what I had purchased, right down to the color. Once installed, he went over some of the features that I needed to know about. He was also very quick and respectful of the property. I would recommend him and the whole A1 team. Thanks guys.

From start to completion our interactions with A1 Garage personnel was outstanding. Easy and enjoyable to make an appointment for next day. Arrived early but they did check to confirm it was good for us too. My Tech, Kevin, exceeded my expectations and his demeanor and professionalism in speaking and walking thru the entire job was much appreciated. His appearance and and mannerisms along with genuine care and concern was very apparent. You sure don’t find many servicemen with his skill set and we truly appreciated this experience with A-1 repairing our garage door on a holiday!Thank you!

Jordan Romero did a great job for me. I had three concerns regarding my updated garage door. Jordan was very helpful in explaining that two of my concerns were non issues. And finally he was able to connect the camera on the garage door to my app and cell phone. Jordan was very polite and if I owned a company I would hire him.
