Jose Rodriguez did an excellent job on correcting my garage door. There were several issues that needed to be corrected and even though my appointment wasn't until the following day, Jose came and fixed my garage door anyway and stayed until it was fixed correctly. He was very pleasant and pointed out several other items that should be fixed in the next 30 days which I will take care of.

Layne was terrific. He was able to repair the garage door of 20 yrs in order to get our car out. We ordered a whole new system that won't break down again. A1 was very reasonable in getting someone out the same day we called. Great to work with.

Jonathan was the BEST! Such a great and easy experience. Like everything, there’s so many options and Jonathan did a great job helping us through the process. Customer service was top notch. I was able to easily schedule a convenient appointment on-line, which confirmed and honored by the company. My tech, Jonathan Batista, called to let me know when he was on the way and arrived right on time. My garage door was pretty messed up, but not beyond repair. I had provided a detailed description of the problems on-line. But until Jonathan started to peel the layers back, neither of knew the full extent of needed repairs. He kept me updated along the way so there were no surprises when it came time to settle the bill. He provided options for upgraded parts and where it made good sense, I agreed to those. He was a diligent worker and took great steps to work carefully around the things I could not move until the door was functional and safe enough to open. Jonathan was very methodical in his logical approach to diagnose then repair, replace pieces and parts, realign the door and tracks, retention the springs and set the springs exactly right. He was professional, polite, and very respectful; a great representative for A1! I’m glad I saw the Ad for the company before I called someone else. I would not hesitate to recommend A1 Garage Door Service!

Troy Cook came out today to address a problem with the garage door not sealing completely when closed. This was the second technician that came out for the same issue. Troy knew what to do to correct the problem and worked very quickly and efficiently. He explained what he was doing. I had a great experience with Troy and will be requesting him to come out for any future service calls for my garage door. I recommend him as an experienced technician.

Chad Wells did an amazing job taking the time to explain the issues I was having with my garage door opener. He showed me new openers to view to fit my needs. He was very honest and when he was finished he made sure he went over everything again to make sure I understood my new opener. Jean Wesley Guerilus was very friendly and professional. He diagnosed our problem quickly and gave us options as to how to correct it. We decided to go with a new opener which he installed quickly. He cleaned up and took old opener away. He made sure that everything was working even the car remotes before he left. I would definitely recommend him to everyone.

Brian was great…. A terrific image for your company. Spoke with our office manager and she had the same $250 price with another company but without the 5% “shop fee for supplies”. If it weren’t for the shop fee add-on, I would have had him install it on the spot…. The opener was in the unopened box in my trunk. But still had an excellent opinion of your company because of Brian.

My Garage Door broke at 8pm last night. Called A1 Garage and to my surprise got a phone technician! Super easy to get my appointment time set up for the following day. John A was our technician, and he did an awesome job repairing/upgrading the damaged part which was a broken spring and it was also reasonably priced. John also provided a lot of great insight on how to best maintain the garage door and I also took out there worry free club for future maintenance and repairs. Oh my goodness! After a fantastic experience several years ago & a positive review, we’re back for needed work. Yesterday is a day to forget. Snafus prevented the accomplishment of necessary. This company made it up to us by sending JJ an accomplished gentleman & incredible worker & sales person. He fixed easily our problem on our main garage door & proceeded to smaller door to service & found the chain missing teeth, etc. He quickly recommended what we needed, had the parts at hand in huge service truck, and proceeded to fix it to perfection. I don’t know how this company found such a working, likable & competent individual, but they did.and we are the benefactors. Thank you A1!

I was stressed because my garage wouldn’t close and with the storm approaching I didn’t know what to do. I was blessed to find A1 garage door service on google. I called and they were able to accommodate the emergency service that my garage door needed. John Ayers came out and fixed my garage door. He answered all questions and was very patient. Scott called and let me know when he would be arriving. Even asked if he could pick up a soda or water on the way. So I think I know what I need to do going forward and Zach was extremely helpful by laying out suggestions and telling me what's technically or mechanically possible or electronically possible. So that way he was great. I really appreciate everything he's able to do. He got up on the ladder, looked at our little genie garage door opener, explained to me how it works all that kind of stuff, but that the connected remote keypad was not going to work with the motor that that I have. Even though it was a genie keypad that's on the outside of the house. So I need to think about what we wanna do going forward, but he was great and if I can get him back again, that would be awesome when we decided to move forward on whatever we're going to end up doing.

I had totally different expectations on the costs of a garage motor and tune-up. I think A1 is too expensive. I should have done better research. But Trey was knowledgeable of his products, pleasant, professional and helped me understand what the experience would be in the end to make sure I would be satisfied with his solution and service. He took the extra effort to make sure all my remotes were integrated and working properly. I appreciated that.

An absolutely wonderful experience from beginning to end. The sales staff were knowledgeable and fair, the office staff both competent and friendly, and the install tech was top notch in all respects! The door was purchased and ready for delivery but hurricane damage that was discovered afterwards had to be taken care of prior to installation. They were very gracious and understanding while we walked through the repair process and did not charge us any storage fees and even helped out staging the old door in place while the repairs were done. 5 stars all the way! I would give them a 6th for their customer service if the option was available!

He explained the inspection, what was good and what was not so good, and gave us a resolve to our issue as well as some suggestions for a better lifespan of our garage door. Excellent service! Mr. Jose Garcia was very professional. He explained the repairs needed and the cost immediately upon his arrival. There were no delays in getting the repairs done. Also, Mr. Garcia went over and beyond to share other garage issues that may occur in the near future and explained how long we should consider waiting before getting repairs done. Brian from A1 came to take a look at our garage motor. The remotes didn’t work despite new batteries, and unfortunately the circuit board was on its last legs(it was 11y old so it’s understandable). The time frame to come was 1-6 and Brian called at 1:30, stating he would be there in 30 mins, and did just that!He reviewed our options for a new motor, and even told us he would get it set up same day! He even said it would take up to two hours and it was barely an hour.Our new motor is much quieter, it the LED light is bright and we can just turn the light on without using the garage itself.He gave us his number and told us to call if we had any issue! Thankfully he lives just up the street from us (which is how we found the company in the first place).Thanks Brian & thanks A1!

We had a spring break suddenly and called for help Friday before Christmas. Very quickly able to get a reservation for the next day. Mark showed up, quickly assessed the issue and also evaluated a lot of other things to make sure the door was working well and safe. He was super personable, gave us options without trying to upsell unnecessary add-ons, and the price options were super reasonable. He then did an amazing job with a quick install. Amazing customer service, very prompt, and did everything that was promised. Our technician Bryan was very friendly and knowledgeable about the product. Todd our salesman was extremely patient and comforting throughout the whole sale process, and provided follow ups. He was never aggressive throughout our dealings with him. Manuel S was such professional one man show. He came to my house and went above and beyond installing my garage door. He was very patient and took his time with the process. They did a great job! Our garage springs broke at night and we called A1 when it happened. They answered and offered to come the next day but we were not able to meet them. They were able to meet us when we were available the day after and our garage was fixed within an hour. Nick was absolutely amazing. He went over our garage door with us and it works better now than it ever has. The cost was very reasonable and I was so happy with the outcome! It was a very easy and painless process. They beat all the other prices in the area AND got us additional promotion and military discounts. We were having issue with our garage door opener over the weekend, and I placed a call to A1 on Saturday afternoon and made an appointment for Sunday between the hours 8 AM and 1 PM. There service technician was at our door at 8 AM sharp. Jeremy Moore (service tech) was professional and very knowledgeable, not only their brand but all brands, after the trouble shooting of our opener it was determined that the only real option, we had was to replace the opener with new equipment. Two thing I really liked about Jeremy; one was he was thorough about our options and two he was a Navy Veteran.It's nice to hear that A1 Garage Door Service hires the Veterans that served our country. Garage door snapped and broke at 8:30am. After quick google search found this company, called them and Lloyd was here by 10:15am. My garage door was fixed and parts replaced by 11:46 am. Amazing service, Lloyd was great. Everything very professional and we got a break down of what exactly was needed. What we thought was going to be a long expensive situation turned out quick and affordable. Their warranty seems good too!

I called A1 after one of our springs broke on our garage door. It happened late in the evening on July 3rd. Matt came out early (as requested) on July 4th to assess our problem. We discovered our garage door spring had broken at about 1 pm on a Sat and after calling a few places, we called A1. We were able to book an appointment for the same day when no one else was available and within just a few hours, Jordan arrived by 5pm. Jordan did an excellent job! He was very professional and thorough in explaining our spring options and helped determine what was appropriate for our situation. Then Jordan went to work quickly and was able to maneuver around our hanging shelf racks without any issue. After the install, he lubricated all of the bearings and joints, pointing them out along the way so that we could continue self maintenance if we chose. Jordan was very friendly and knowledgeable. After additional inspection of our garage door and system, he found and suggested some additional areas for improvement, particularly with the gaps in the bottom corners of our garage door where the seal had been cut short on both ends, creating an exposure to weather elements and unwanted critters. We already have a followup appointment scheduled with him to replace and fix this. Overall, A1 and Jordan did a fantastic job, saving us from being inconvenienced by our broken garage door for the entire holiday weekend! Thank you!!

Working with A1 was a great experience from the start. The woman I spoke to to schedule service is was very pleasant. Louie our technician was wonderful. We have Louie E come out to our house to perform some maintenance on our garage door. While he was here, he pointed out a few things that could be replaced due to age and while he was talking to us, he never put any pressure on us to replace those items (which was refreshing). We ended up going with his suggestions and he was able to replace those parts in a timely manner. When all the work was done, Louie took the time to show us what all he did and tested those new pieces in front of us to make sure we were satisfied with his work. I had an issue arise with my garage doors and i called Sunday afternoon, i don't remember the name of who picked up the phone but they were very helpful and found a way to get the service i needed the next day at a time i was home. Bryan came over to fix some issues with my springs in both my doors, in the process he spotted a lot of other issues present in my door we weren't aware of. He explained everything in detail and was very patient. Showed us what items had which issues and what the correct course of action was. At no point did i feel like he was trying to sell us anything we didn't need. He worked with us to find the best solution both in price and work. he was very respectful of the space he was in and took extra precautions to protect valuable items in the area. Very professional and worked very fast. Great customer service by the technician Josh R. and the office coordinator. They have a well coordinated system between the office and the field techs. I requested to get a call one hour before the tech arrived so I had enough time to get home to meet with him and that is exactly what they did. Once Josh got there, he introduced himself and we went to the garage where I explained my concerns. Josh gave me options on how to addressed the problem and once I decided which one I felt more comfortable with, he went to work. Very pleasant, efficient and great service!

Lloyd was on accompanied by Bill who was on training. They was both very courteous and knowledgeable throughout the inspection of the door. Lloyd also gave parts suggestion that was tailored to a previous breakage of the door. The price for all door components fixed were reasonable. Great service overall and will reccomend. Thank you!

Lloyd did an amazing job!!!Today my original garage spring broke and I called A1 Garage they sent me a technician in less than 2 hours from my call.Lloyd arrived and unfortunately they don’t carry the spring system I have, the original system is proprietary for another company that it have them in back order for 5 to 8 weeks.So we look through options and Floyd recommended to change the spring system and I did, now I have a new system that it will last 80k times and 10 years guarantee for a great price.I can’t no be more thankful, specially around Christmas.Thank you Floyd and A1 Garage Door

Amazing service from A1! They were able to come out quickly. Gave a detailed quote and did the work the same day. Our technician, Lloyd was very knowledgeable, honest, and took the time to explain in detail the parts that needed replacing, installed and set up the new opener within an hour and a half. We called A1 Garage Door Service Orlando after our garage door motor made a horrible grinding sound and ceased to function. Lloyd came out this afternoon. He was very good at explaining the problem and showed us the plastic part of the 21-year old motor that had been thoroughly chewed up. Within about an hour, Lloyd had installed a new, beautifully quiet motor that came with LED lights and two new remotes, and he replaced the control box on the wall. He pointed out that we will also need to replace the wheels and springs before long. However, since those are not an emergency, we explained that we didn't want to replace them yet because we are in the midst of some other expensive house projects, so he lubricated them for us to help extend their life.It is obvious that Lloyd thoroughly knows his business, and he is very cheerful and helpful. I would recommend Lloyd at A1 Garage Door Service Orlando to anyone needing garage door repair. We will call him again the next time we need garage door service.

Lloyd came and let us know what was wrong with our garage door. He explained everything thoroughly and gave us options. He was very nice and patient and he even fixed the bracket and garage remote. Nothing but the most positive experience! My 78 yr old mother called A1 to get service on her big garage door because it would not go up. The tech Lloyd came out the very next day and replaced the springs on her door. I was so impressed with the way my mother absolutely raved about him that I had to write. Updated after repairs, read below.After listening to my garage door squeak for a few weeks I decided to have it looked into. The day of my appointment Lloyd, the technician, called me when he was 30 minutes away. Upon arrival he introduced himself and briefly gave me his background which I appreciate because it was easy to tell he was a seasoned technician. He went over the inspection with me and it turns out our framing is horrible. Our wood framing is split all up and down, and missing or lacking areas of reinforcement. It is very clear this was a DIY job done prior to us buying the home several years ago, it never would've passed an inspection had a permit been pulled. We'll be seeing Lloyd in a few weeks when he comes out to reframe, reseal, reinforce and de-squeak the door. I'll update the review soon after. For now I am extremely happy with the service A1 provided, from calling to schedule the appointment to Lloyds clear explanation of what needs to be done.Update: Lloyd came out to do all of the repairs just as he explained. He was here for several hours and then had to come back to finish the exterior trim the next day. It looks great, and sounds great (silent). It was an overall excellent experience working with A1! I highly recommend them for your maintenance and repairs.

A1 was awesome to work with. Llyod specifically was helpful from start to finish. We got a new garage door that is basically silent and the Liftmaster opener works from my phone.
