A1 Cares: Mission Statement
To serve and enhance the communities that surround us through volunteer, fundraising and advocacy efforts.
A1 Cares: Making in a Difference in Your Community
Any company can say they care about making an impact in the community and the lives of their team members – but there’s a big difference between talking the talk and walking the walk. At A1 Cares, we don’t just talk a big game – we put in the time.
Launched in 2020, when the world may need a helping hand more than ever, A1 Cares is our commitment to improving and serving the people and communities that keep us in business. While A1 Cares commits to aiding efforts that help feed the hungry, expand educational opportunities for students and otherwise benefit the community at large, we also focus our advocacy efforts internally.
From giving our workers the tips and tools they need to become homeowners to sponsoring the sports teams of their children, we take immense pride in putting people first, both inside and out of A1.
And while it’s rewarding for us to see the impact our advocacy efforts, serving the people who help put food on our tables has also been a major morale booster for our staff members, many of whom have found strength and fulfillment through giving back to greater good.
A1 Cares Upcoming Events:
The Phoenix Rising Football Club salutes the men and women who served our country at Military Appreciation Night on Saturday, July 3. Celebrate our local heroes as the Rising take on the Los Angeles Galaxy II. Tickets to the game are available to veterans through Vet Tix.
A1 Garage Door Service is a proud sponsor of Military Appreciation Night. We hope that all the veterans attending Saturday’s game enjoy the opportunity to cheer the Rising to victory, but the celebration doesn’t have to stop Saturday.
We’re giving away a pair of tickets to an upcoming Phoenix Rising game to an area veteran. If you’d like the chance to attend, send us an email or watch for additional information on our Facebook page.
Last year, 200 homeless Maricopa County residents died from extreme heat. This year has potential to be even more deadly, as temperatures have already reached 118 degrees in the Phoenix Valley.
Through Sept. 1, we’re collecting bottled water donations from our clients and employees and at our Phoenix office. Learn more about this initiative and how you can help.
