Our technician Matt was wonderful. He was polite and knowledgeable. His communication in regard to arrival time was great too. He was able to tell us right away that we had a broken door spring and that was what was causing the other issues with our garage door. We were having issue with our garage door opener over the weekend, and I placed a call to A1 on Saturday afternoon and made an appointment for Sunday between the hours 8 AM and 1 PM. There service technician was at our door at 8 AM sharp. Jeremy Moore (service tech) was professional and very knowledgeable, not only their brand but all brands, after the trouble shooting of our opener it was determined that the only real option, we had was to replace the opener with new equipment. Two thing I really liked about Jeremy; one was he was thorough about our options and two he was a Navy Veteran.It's nice to hear that A1 Garage Door Service hires the Veterans that served our country. Louie from A1 Garage Door was very professional and took the time to make sure the repair was done right. He checked in with me and let me know what he needed to do to get the problem fixed and once fixed asked if I had questions or needed anything else. This company is also great at calling ahead to let you know they are on the way as a courtesy.

Garage door snapped and broke at 8:30am. After quick google search found this company, called them and Lloyd was here by 10:15am. My garage door was fixed and parts replaced by 11:46 am. Amazing service, Lloyd was great. Everything very professional and we got a break down of what exactly was needed. What we thought was going to be a long expensive situation turned out quick and affordable. Their warranty seems good too!

I called A1 after one of our springs broke on our garage door. It happened late in the evening on July 3rd. Matt came out early (as requested) on July 4th to assess our problem. He knew exactly what was needed and went over all the options he had to fix our issue. He is very knowledgeable and courteous. Took care of our problem and performed his inspection the same morning. Very professional and I would recommend him to anyone that needs garage door services. Appreciate you Matt.

We discovered our garage door spring had broken at about 1 pm on a Sat and after calling a few places, we called A1. We were able to book an appointment for the same day when no one else was available and within just a few hours, Jordan arrived by 5pm. Jordan did an excellent job! He was very professional and thorough in explaining our spring options and helped determine what was appropriate for our situation. Then Jordan went to work quickly and was able to maneuver around our hanging shelf racks without any issue. After the install, he lubricated all of the bearings and joints, pointing them out along the way so that we could continue self maintenance if we chose. Jordan was very friendly and knowledgeable. After additional inspection of our garage door and system, he found and suggested some additional areas for improvement, particularly with the gaps in the bottom corners of our garage door where the seal had been cut short on both ends, creating an exposure to weather elements and unwanted critters. We already have a followup appointment scheduled with him to replace and fix this. Overall, A1 and Jordan did a fantastic job, saving us from being inconvenienced by our broken garage door for the entire holiday weekend! Thank you!!

Great service provided by A1 Garage Door Service and technician Louie. Louie was a pleasure to work with - highly knowlegable, professional and courteous. He walked us through the issues he found during the assessment and explained everything thoroughly. Work was done in a timely manner, since he had everything needed to repair our garage in his truck! Once the job was done, he walked us through everything he did, tested everything with us to make sure it was all working correctly and that we were satisfied with his work. He answered every question we had and showed us how to maintain our garage door. He even cleaned the garage and left it looking better than before he arrived. Louis was the best tech I have ever dealt with, he showed extreme professionalism and amazing craftsmanship.He gave me a crash course on how everything works and showed me how to maintain the door and he even CLEANED the garage. Jason came out on a Friday night to walk us through an estimate for a new garage door. Was really impressed with his knowledge of new and old garage doors. Jason with Chris in the phone quoted us with 3 different pricing options and photos of what each door would look like installed. There was no pressure to sign right then from Jason or Chris, which we really liked. Jason’s confidence in his trade, knowledge of garage systems and easy to speak with personality made the estimate a pleasurable experience.

The entire process from 1st meeting to completed install was such a pain-free seamless experience. I had two doors installed and the gentleman who performed the task were knowledgeable, polite, informative and very detailed in the completion of the job. Working with A1 was a great experience from the start. The woman I spoke to to schedule service is was very pleasant. Louie our technician was wonderful. He was on time and very professional throughout our entire interaction. He preformed a thorough inspection and explained exactly what was wrong with our unit. We ended up replacing our unit and the install was done immediately Louie had all the models available in his truck so there was no delay. He even left the garage cleaner than when he arrived. A1 has gained loyal customers thanks to their professionalism and genuine care for their customers. We will be using them to replace our door in the near future.

Awesome service!! Awesome, knowledgable service tech, Matt; he's a true asset to the company. Hurricane Ian compromised/weakened my older model garage door and I was not budgeted for a total garage door replacement. However, Matt worked with me to design and install a complete refurbishment package - including wind and water mitigation - compatible with my existing door and fell within my budget. We have Louie E come out to our house to perform some maintenance on our garage door. While he was here, he pointed out a few things that could be replaced due to age and while he was talking to us, he never put any pressure on us to replace those items (which was refreshing). We ended up going with his suggestions and he was able to replace those parts in a timely manner. When all the work was done, Louie took the time to show us what all he did and tested those new pieces in front of us to make sure we were satisfied with his work. Louie was great and if we need any other garage door work in the future we will for sure call A1 Garage!!

I had an issue arise with my garage doors and i called Sunday afternoon, i don't remember the name of who picked up the phone but they were very helpful and found a way to get the service i needed the next day at a time i was home. Bryan came over to fix some issues with my springs in both my doors, in the process he spotted a lot of other issues present in my door we weren't aware of. He explained everything in detail and was very patient. Showed us what items had which issues and what the correct course of action was. At no point did i feel like he was trying to sell us anything we didn't need. He worked with us to find the best solution both in price and work. he was very respectful of the space he was in and took extra precautions to protect valuable items in the area. Very professional and worked very fast. I didn't know what to expect since I've never had garage doors serviced before but the customer service provided by Bryan and A1 has been nothing short of excellent.

My garage door spring broke Sunday night so we went online to schedule an appointment. Even though this was not an emergency, I got Monday morning. Bryan came out by 9:30. He was very pleasant, personable, and knowledgeable. He walked me through all the steps and recommended replacing worn parts but did not push for an up-sale. He was quick, efficient and clean, taking away all associated trash. I was very pleased with the service, workmanship and the cost was quite reasonable. Josh did a great job replacing our spring and a few related parts that had been improperly installed years ago and thus had failed. After the initial consult and pricing, when we decided to go with them they were able to come do the job the very next day. It's now functional again and much quieter than before.

Great customer service by the technician Josh R. and the office coordinator. They have a well coordinated system between the office and the field techs. I requested to get a call one hour before the tech arrived so I had enough time to get home to meet with him and that is exactly what they did. Once Josh got there, he introduced himself and we went to the garage where I explained my concerns. Josh gave me options on how to addressed the problem and once I decided which one I felt more comfortable with, he went to work. Very pleasant, efficient and great service!

Josh came to my home to provide a 29-point inspection, tune-up, reset and to provide estimates for future jobs. He is very knowledgeable, personable and extremely professional. Lloyd did an amazing job!!!Today my original garage spring broke and I called A1 Garage they sent me a technician in less than 2 hours from my call.Lloyd arrived and unfortunately they don’t carry the spring system I have, the original system is proprietary for another company that it have them in back order for 5 to 8 weeks.So we look through options and Floyd recommended to change the spring system and I did, now I have a new system that it will last 80k times and 10 years guarantee for a great price.I can’t no be more thankful, specially around Christmas.Thank you Floyd and A1 Garage Door

Amazing service from A1! They were able to come out quickly. Gave a detailed quote and did the work the same day. We called A1 Garage Door Service Orlando after our garage door motor made a horrible grinding sound and ceased to function. Lloyd came out this afternoon. He was very good at explaining the problem and showed us the plastic part of the 21-year old motor that had been thoroughly chewed up. Within about an hour, Lloyd had installed a new, beautifully quiet motor that came with LED lights and two new remotes, and he replaced the control box on the wall. He pointed out that we will also need to replace the wheels and springs before long. However, since those are not an emergency, we explained that we didn't want to replace them yet because we are in the midst of some other expensive house projects, so he lubricated them for us to help extend their life.It is obvious that Lloyd thoroughly knows his business, and he is very cheerful and helpful. I would recommend Lloyd at A1 Garage Door Service Orlando to anyone needing garage door repair. We will call him again the next time we need garage door service.

Joshua came over and was super efficient. He fixed the motor for the garage door and he was nice enough to program both of our garage door remotes. Nice attitude and a good work ethic. Nothing but the most positive experience! My 78 yr old mother called A1 to get service on her big garage door because it would not go up. The tech Lloyd came out the very next day and replaced the springs on her door. I was so impressed with the way my mother absolutely raved about him that I had to write. Not only was he so professional but he was so compassionate to her needs and even went out of his way to call and see if there were any discounts that could be used to help my mother. Updated after repairs, read below.After listening to my garage door squeak for a few weeks I decided to have it looked into. The day of my appointment Lloyd, the technician, called me when he was 30 minutes away. Upon arrival he introduced himself and briefly gave me his background which I appreciate because it was easy to tell he was a seasoned technician. He went over the inspection with me and it turns out our framing is horrible. Our wood framing is split all up and down, and missing or lacking areas of reinforcement. It is very clear this was a DIY job done prior to us buying the home several years ago, it never would've passed an inspection had a permit been pulled. We'll be seeing Lloyd in a few weeks when he comes out to reframe, reseal, reinforce and de-squeak the door. I'll update the review soon after. For now I am extremely happy with the service A1 provided, from calling to schedule the appointment to Lloyds clear explanation of what needs to be done.Update: Lloyd came out to do all of the repairs just as he explained. He was here for several hours and then had to come back to finish the exterior trim the next day. It looks great, and sounds great (silent). It was an overall excellent experience working with A1! I highly recommend them for your maintenance and repairs.

I called A1 after dealing with a few other places and it was just a different experience. The person I dealt with was super personable and he helped walk me through everything. They didn't try to gouge me and were honest about what my garage needed. The new opener is SO responsive and no longer sounds like a horror movie when opening haha.
