he was fine. also, the light sensor is sporadic. it comes on at different times. sometimes at top of stairs, sometimes when I get to bottom. I have to turn on the overhead light to be sure to see. I thought purpose of light was to avoid having to turn on light. if you doesn't, it's a wasted expense. can someone else adjust it to work right?

Andrew did amazing work to repair our aged garage doors. Appointment was surprisingly same day at no extra charge. He meticulously made sure everything was operational. He spent time troubleshooting and making the repairs needed over and above expectations. He left the space he worked in cleaner than he found it. We used A1 to replace our garage door opener. The customer service was wonderful and we were scheduled quickly. Our technician Matt was very thorough and was nice enough to explain our repair issues and options. Matt was able to have our garage door back up and running in a little over an hour. Very pleased with A1 Garage Door Service. Robert L was very professional and personable. Quickly diagnosed problem with MyQ and got me back up and running. Very informative about the overall condition of unit, including springs. Based on his testing, the 2 yr springs were starting to wear. He was ready to replace at no charge As they were still under warranty Or presented options on longer lasting springs. I chose to go with better springs. Again, very knowledgeable. Highly recommend using them if you are having issues with your garage door based on quality of work and availability.

I have to give Andrew Martinez a huge shout out. I had a little snafu while backing out of the garage and bent the door frame and knocked out both garage door sensors. Andrew was prompt, efficient and informative about what the process would be to repair it. He went right to work and was able to replace my roommates door sensor immediately and replaced the track on my side, initially. Had to order my sensor and returned when he was able to replace that a week or two later. He was able to secure a couple of discounts for me and I was relieved to have it all repaired. I highly recommend A1 Garage Door Service. I will definitely call again, if ever needed, and will request Andrew to assist if he is available. Top Notch service and professional, prompt and honest technicians and office staff. 5 + stars.

By far the most professional, courteous service I have ever had! The receptionist was incredibly polite and helpful and the service men who came were extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the garage door. They were friendly and polite and I felt completely safe with them as a single woman. I highly, highly recommend this company. They are reputable I know exactly what they’re doing! They got me in within a few hours of my call and diagnose the problem quickly. They even improvised ways to fix it so I didn’t have to replace my garage door put it by another company incorrectly, saving me thousands of dollars. It was a very pleasant experience from beginning to the end working with A1 Garage. The person who made my appointment on the phone was kind, pleasant, and efficient ( I don’t always get someone like that when making appointments on the phone). Our technician was Conlan who was very professional and good at explaining how things worked and what and why parts needed to be updated. And when he cleaned up after the job he left my garage neater then when he arrived. My new garage door system works great! I would highly recommend A1 Garage Door Service. I have been having trouble with my garage door for some time now. I had another company come and look at it. The tech made some adjustments and said it was all he could do. It did not fix the problem.A friend of mine had her door serviced by A 1 and I managed to get my door looked at. Dylan the technician was knowledgeable, courteous and was able to install the right parts quickly, adjust the door so it now functions as it should. Responsiveness speaks volumes about a business' commitment to quality. When I asked our tech, Dylan, about some concerns I had after the service, he did his best to make it right and assure that we were satisfied with the work. I was not expecting to see the level of dedication that he demonstrated.You do not see that a lot, if ever, in the current environment. Dylan's level of service says much about A1's expectations of their team: management here is doing something right. The staff delivers that message to their customers, at least Dylan certainly did.

Had a spring break in two on a Friday at noon. Dillon with A1 came out Saturday morning. Changed the springs (they were not of good quality); checked every part for wear and tear. Made recommendations to keep the door working well into the future. He was exceptional in his service and ability. Didn’t try to sell us anything we didn’t need. A1 is a great company and its technicians are the best in the business. Highly recommend them!

I haven't yet decided if I'm going to use their services (they gave me an estimate just a few days ago), but if you're looking for professionalism, courtesy, and knowledge of the industry, these guys are top notch. I dealt with Conlan and Matt and couldn't be more impressed with them. Their pricing is higher than some, lower than others. If you want professionalism, courtesy and knowledge of the industry, you'll usually have to pay for it, especially in New Mexico, where those traits are hard to find.

I was amazed at the fast, efficient service provided by everyone involved with our service call. Our springs went out at noon and Dylan was at our door by 1:15. We asked for a 30-minute heads up so we could end any work calls and both Dylan and the office called to let us know. My old torsion spring broke on my old bar on a Saturday. I called Monday morning and was able to have a tech come out next day to take a look at the issue. Dj Armijo came out and told me what the issue was and I asked how long until I could get it replaced. I was told now, which surprised me. Dj was able to replace the broke part within an hour and fix some other issues with my garage door opener. Overall quick and reliable service. Definitely will be suggesting this company to others. Our garage door spring broke with 2 of our everyday vehicles trapped inside, of course this was late on a Friday evening. Saturday morning I was able to reach A-1 Garage Door Service and by Monday morning at 8:30am we had one of their installation\service tech at our home ready to fix our Garage door. James Serda did an amazing job by first doing a 29 point inspection on our door and than fixing our door spring along with bushings, bearings, and a couple of other items that were very well aged and on their way to breaking as well. James was very respectful, knew his job well, and the work was done in a very timely efficient manner. With just a couple minutes over 1 hour, James had our garage door operating just like new.We had a wonderful experience with A1 Garage Door Service thanks to technician James Serda and because of his awesome work we will not only use A-1 Garage Door Service again for any future garage door issues but we will gladly recommend A-1 Garage Door Service to anyone in need of a new door or any repair on their current doors.Thank you A-1 and especially Thank you James.

Our garage door spring broke during the night on a Friday and our only car was trapped inside. A1 put us on the schedule for the first appointment on Saturday morning. The A1 Technician who was scheduled for our garage door repairs, Elijah, called early to let us know that he was on his way and arrived right on time. He conducted a thorough inspection of our door and detailed every component that required repair on the estimate. It was an easy decision to have all of the work done because most of the parts on our garage door were original from when our home was built in 1994. We were very fortunate that A1 has financing options available because it enabled us to have all of the repairs done at once. I'm thoroughly impressed with Elijah's knowledge and professionalism and with the manner in which we have been taken care of by A1 Garage Door Service. I will definitely use them again should our garage door require service in the future and will recommend them to anyone I know in a heartbeat.

I had backed into our door and it came off the tracks so I called A1 out to our home to fix the issue. I had called multiple companies and none of them would have been able to come out to our house for more than two weeks and A1 was able to make it out the same day which was amazing in our situation. Dylan K came out and was very professional and informative and we let him know we didn't want to replace the door due to us moving in the next six months and he assured us that the door was in repairable shape and he can get us taken care of til we moved out. Allen came out to help with a broken gear in a very old garage door opener. He said he was impressed at how long the old opener even worked (about 27 years!!!). He replaced the opener and given the age of everything, had to replace the spring and bearings too. He gave me lots of price options of the different models of openers and springs. Gave me information about each of the options before he replaced everything. I was SUPER impressed that he was able to complete the work today and that I didn't have to schedule for another appointment. He also inspected all other areas of the garage door to make sure things were all in working order. Although I had only hoped for a repair and not spending as much, Allen definitely took care of everything and I now have a quiet opener and i know that things are in working order.

I Had Dylan from A1 out today to diagnose the issue with my opener being intermittent and he was very knowledgeable, he informed me the electronics were going bad and my best option would be is to replace the unit. He installed a "dc" motor because of the good features it came with as well as it being gentle with my door. He also replaced my plastic rollers and what a difference these two things made on my door, not ever did I expect a door to be this quiet! I would recommend Dylan and A1 to anyone who is looking for great customer service and fair pricing for good quality products.

Called A1 out to fix the issue with my sensors that multiple companies have been out to look at and can't seem to get figured. Dylan came out and was able to run through every diagnostic that could pin point the issue, he let me know that the motor was having issues running the door due to the age and it had been working at its maximum strength for too long and needed to be replaced. I had him replace the motor with a lift master from a genie I previously had and what a difference it made! Now I have a quiet opener and a door I can look forward to using whenever i need to, completely satisfied with the customer service and professionalism that Dylan and this company has provided me with. I will be sure to recommend A1 to all my friends and family.

Allen and DJ were excellent. Not only were we able to get an appointment quickly but they were on time, were professional, and showed me what was working and not working with my garage door. I appreciated their honesty and their exceptional customer service experience. Will definitely be calling them again for service on our garage door.

I’ll start off saying the tech who came out was very nice and polite. But I had to figure out what was wrong with the garage while he was going to completely miss it. Then when I asked could it be replaced he said no, he could attempt to fix it though. The trim they put in immediately tore and the top trim is not even properly installed and bends and bows out. When we attempted to call and possibly work with the company to fully replace the door they wouldn’t answer for weeks so we lost the 30 day period where the repairs could go towards a new door. The receptionist on the phone told us the part could have been replaced all along but they would charge us fully again for new service. They were super rude and showed they didn’t want to work with us. Sad to see customer service dead.

Excellent service! Definitely A1 service!We are very grateful for the awesome job Allen S. from A1 did at our house.We were caught by surprise when the garage door of our house broke down in the evening and our car was “trapped” inside the garage since the door was very heavy and we couldn’t lift it up.We were looking for someone to repair it, but it was way after normal business hours, so we skeptically we called A1 Garage Door Service and to our surprise, they answered. They were helpful and attentive. They were able set up an appointment to come to our house next morning to fixed it. Allen was puntual, knowledgeable, friendly and respectful. The garage door has never worked better.Thanks!

I am extremely pleased with the service and professionalism I experienced with A1. I highly recommend them! Well other companies advertised they have 24/7 service which actually turns out just to be a 24/7 scheduling service, A1 actually has 24/7 service and it's a complete lifesaver. After overhead garage door company left me stuck with a broken garage door and never showed up, A1 showed up same day and immediately help me diagnose the problem and replaced my opener in that same visit. It was refreshing to see that they arrived in a work van, unlike other companies that charge you for a consultation and schedule work later. Well the other company just wanted to email me their products, I appreciate A1 taking the time to actually come out to see if my unit actually needed replacing before trying to sell me something. I cannot believe how professional and respectful our technician Allen was. He was immensely patient with my elderly mother and patiently answered all our questions. I am in love with my new garage door opener and all the high tech features it has. Having very limited knowledge on what is considered a good replacement or not I really appreciate him going through every item to consider and allowing me to make an informed decision on the selection rather than telling me what to get. A++ service I would definitely go to them again of my garage needs.

Michelle was the technician who replaced the springs. She is very knowledgeable and courteous in explaining the problem and resolutions for it. She gave me three options and took time to explain them to me. She never pressured me to make a decision and very patience. She was very efficient and thorough with the work. After the job was completed she explain regular maintenance that I should perform to keep the door operating properly. The 5 stars are for her. Based on her work, I highly recommend A1 Garage for any garage door related work.

Michelle was our technician and she was so diligent in getting our garage door fixed. Our door would not cooperate, but she stuck with it until it was complete. Would give A1 100 stars! Amazing service! Our garage door gave out today and was basically hanging from a wire! Jazmine with dispatch was so sweet and helpful and was able to get someone out right away! Allen and his partner were great! The went above and beyond to make sure we were safe and happy! Given the situation and still in a pandemic we were able to share some good laughs to lighten the mood! Better outcome than I could have hoped for! I would recommend to anyone!
