Alex was great. Very polite and personable. Did a great job getting my old garage doors working again. Cleaned up the mess from the old openers and made sure everything was working properly. Gavin did a great job replacing our springs and various parts on our garage door to get it back up and running. The lady who did our intake call was very nice and made the process of scheduling very smooth. The communication leading up to the appointment was great, especially because they sent an email with a little bio and picture of the tech who would be showing up. Joe (service tech) came out today to repair a broken tension spring on my garage. He texted me before his arrival. He was prompt, polite and knowledgeable. He evaluated the problem, provided two options for replacement springs prior to starting. Once underway, he noticed additional parts that were wearing out, brought them to my attention. I decided to have him replace the wearing parts, since the spring assembly was already torn apart. I was provided a quote prior to him replacing the additional parts. He did a 24 point inspection when he was done with the installation. Overall, an excellent service experience. Highly recommend A1 Garage Door Service.

My garage door was over traveling and wouldn’t stay closed. I also had noisy garage door rollers. The bearings were going bad and sometimes froze up. My garage door is 27 years old and the opener about 12 years old. I called A1 to fix the door. Surprisingly they scheduled me for the same day snd were at my home less than two hours later. My tech was Joseph Turner.Joe was very friendly and knowledgeable. He fixed my door not closing problem and he replaced my noisy rollers with nylon padded ones that were much quieter. He explained what he had done when finished. He showed me how sloppy my previous roller bearings were. He also showed me how to spray my bearings for longevity. I had never sprayed the bearings in the rollers before (rollers ride in the door tracks on each side. Five roller per side). Five stars to Joseph and A1.

We did a tuneup and inspection of our garage door. Michael Bisaha was our technician and he was very great to work with. He explained all of our issues and problems in extreme detail, and was patient with our questions and concerns regarding our garage door. He ended up giving us great deals and savings on our repairs of our garage door and was extremely quick in the repairs and fixes. If we purchase a new garage door in the future, and with the yearly tuneup, we will definitely make sure to give A1 garage door service another call and great review. Michael deserves a raise.

Mike Lockwood was the tech assigned for my repair issues. The company was good with notifications by email and text and so was Mike. I received a text when he was about 30 minutes out and he also described himself as well and sent a picture to positively ID Who the company tech representative was.Mike was very knowledgeable, personable, friendly and capable regarding Chamberlain Garage door openers and other door and opener issues. he made several calls when he was unable to resolve my opener learning the codes on my keypad or remotes. Mike made several contacts for a secondary source of information two other technicians, which impressed me.The consolidated opinion was that the circuit board had malfunctioned and needed a replacement. my Mike then gave me the phone number to contact regarding ordering a new circuit board which I accomplished on Monday the day following his arrival on Sunday. The tech and the phone advise. They would send me a new circuit board even though it was not covered by warranty. Scheduling was very easy and they were able to get us on the schedule within 3 days (our issue was non-emergency). Mike got to our home promptly within the time frame given. My husband was home to let him in. Options were given for varying level of springs that needed to be replaced.The only reason for not giving 5 stars was the overall cost. Significantly more than we anticipated! Not Mike's fault....just the way things are these days. I did not do a lot of shopping around do to the need to get it fixed.

Joseph the service rep was very polite and professional. He diagnosed the issues with my garage door explained the cost of a new door then the possible fixes without a new door. We discussed the other options rather then a new door and came up with a solution that should give me a couple years maybe more before replacing new. Their website made it easy to schedule an appointment and Jesse came out between the scheduled time. Called on a Sunday afternoon, live receptionist answered and had a technician to my house by 8:15 Monday morning. Within minutes Joe determined that the gears internal to my 90's model door opener were stripped. Like a true magician, he pulled the exact parts from his van. Joe our technician was great. He diagnosed the problem, which was a blown fuse in the unit quickly and efficiently. Now, instead of having to buy a brand new door opener, a simple fuse switch will solve the problem. Rusty came out to repair our garage door over the weekend. A spring had broken and he walked us through the various options to replace the springs. He offered a few different units at different price points with differing warranties ranging from 2 years to 5 years to lifetime. We presented options depending on where we wanted to be price-wise.He promptly got the springs replaced and then did a complete review of our door noting that the rollers were plastic. We upgraded to stainless steel ball bearing rollers that will last much longer. Rusty then adjusted the chain on our garage door opener and made a few other tweaks, greased all of the hinges, and we were back in business in about an hour. Also, kudos to A1 for calling us with a cancellation to see if they could swing by earlier. We ended up getting our door fixed a full day sooner than we expected! Thanks to A1 and Rusty for a job well done!

Shane and the whole team at A1 definitely get 5 stars for their service and work on our garage door. I came home late Saturday evening from work to a broken garage door, and after one phone call (where I was able to actually speak to a person within a minute) she had them scheduled to be there the following morning. The communication was great. I got an email immediately that reminded me of the appointment, and I received a phone call when they were on their way, and they made it well within their time window (8A-1P). Their inspection was efficient and they quickly diagnose the problem (broken spring), and gave the recommendation and options to fix it. Truthfully, everything was way pricier than I was hoping it would be, but they did a really good job of explaining what to do and why and were not high pressure with upgrades. My Google search of price comparisons seems like they were definitely in a normal price range though. And they were so fast and I have a perfectly working garage door again. They even lubed everything and made sure nothing else was on the brink of breaking. Top notch service.

I called the first garage door business that came up on my google search after an unexpected accident and my goodness, did we stumble into something wonderful. The scheduler was so sweet, so accommodating, and so understanding. Andres was kind, patient, and compassion. The entire process has been really amazing. Lincoln came out and from the time he called to confirm his arrival to the time he completed service for me, he was very prompt, friendly, professional, and courteous. He checked everything over before servicing and he check his work afterwards to be sure it was effectively working properly. Kevin Herrington was absolutely amazing. Our garage door was damaged and he came out the next day with a trainee to fix it.I sat in the garage the entire time and he was very nice, explained everything to me and definitely helped calm my anxiety over the whole situation. And he was a great trainer to the young man he brought with. Will be calling Kevin for any home improvement needs in the future. Thank you Kevin!

Gilbert was very nice and answered all questions. He came at the exact time we expected him and provided a very good service! Very friendly and helpful, garage spring broke the night before (Saturday) and he was here the next morning. I was happy with the overall result and will use them for any future garage needs😊

Called for appointment to replace rubber seals. Scheduler was very courteous and was able to get us scheduled for the next day. This was not an urgent issue but happy for quick visit. Tech Jason was very pleasant, fun to work with. Ended up with almost complete overhaul of garage door lift system. A lot more than I planned at this time of year but the system sounds so much better. Would definitely work with them again.
