My entire experience with A1 was fantastic from the moment the automated phone system answered. (Have you called it? I’ve never heard one so cheerful!) Michelle answered and was so helpful and friendly. She scheduled me for the next day. Then I got a call from the local dispatcher (?) to see if I could meet today in the later afternoon. That worked, so I met Paul at our house. Paul was very kind and professional, and did such a great job explaining what would have to happen to *fix* the doors we currently have, and the difference in cost and life expectancy to replace them. After taking some measurements and pictures, Paul got Sam on the phone to talk pricing. Sam was very helpful and did a great job explaining some options to me. I’m certain that when we have the doors replaced, we will experience the same level of amazing customer service that we’ve seen so far. A1 has been so great to work with so far! I’m thankful that a company puts so much emphasis on customer service.

Chuck was great! Showed up promptly and knew within minutes what my problem was. Gave me all my options, a quick education and helped me make the best choice for my situation. Craig was awesome. He explained everything he was doing and going to do. He was friendly and professional. I picked out a door talked with a sales rep but upon talking about my current door, Isaac explained there was really nothing wrong with my door. It needed repair and some maintenance. He fixed what someone else did wrong. He saved me a lot of money. This speaks volumes to me about the kind of company A1 is also. Classy!! Respect of what I needed not what they could sell me. I will call A1 again if needed and definitely recommend A1 to friends and family.

I wanted to say how in impressed I was with everyone involved in A1 garage, starting out with Paul by him explaining everything when he came out his time his patience, his energy as well as Chris explaining to me about the financing his time and patience of all the questions I had he answered them professionally and politely, and then Steve came out to install the garage door he was very polite in explaining the installment procedure to me. Hi I wanted to share that LAN Craig C was an absolute joy to work with yesterday. He carefully and patiently explained each step and more importantly the reason why I might want to have a particular piece of the work done. He never pressured us (which is very important to us) and gave us the information to make our own informed decision. I cannot speak more highly of his skill, professionalism and kind demeanor. Although my 78 year old garage needed more than the quick fix I was hoping for, Paul did an excellent job of making me feel confident and comfortable with the purchase, which is something I’ve NEVER experienced with another contractor of any kind. Paul showed me the damaged components, explained how they worked, and clearly demonstrated the urgency for replacement. Paul was very knowledgeable about the issues and answered tons of questions. After everything was replaced, he spent time showing me all the features and usage of the app.

Wasn't sure which garage business I wanted to use but I saw the A-1 Garage Door commercial and it pertained to the problem I had with the rubber strip at the bottom of the door. So I called and made an appointment in 2 days was happy about that, the tech Paul Jones came out, did a fabulous job on replacing the rubber stripping, and pointed out some other issues replaced the rollers he was thorough and quick on the job. Definitely will be calling again. Thank you.

Really impressed with A1's service - our garage door motor failed and majorly damaged our door. I picked A1 based on the positive reviews in my area and loved that I was able to schedule online and give them information beforehand. There were even same-day appointments available. I received a text saying our tech, Paul J was coming, and they sent over a photo for safety as well. I also received a call from Paul when he was on his way. Paul was patient with all of my questions and gave us solutions within minutes. Unfortunately we needed an entire new door, but within half an hour he had taken measurements, gave us instructions on how to deal with the current broken door in the interim and found the door we wanted in stock. The sales tech jumped on the call quickly and went through all of our options with us - they even waited for my husband to finish up in a meeting so that he could join us. We were able to grab a Saturday install date of the same week as the visit, which we did not expect. Not a fun thing to be told you need an entirely new garage door, but Paul made everything easy to understand and we trust that we're getting the right solution for us at a reasonable price with a quick turnaround time.

I'm totally pleased with A1; from calling to schedule to coming out to perform the repair, the service I received was excellent. I was impressed by the text and email that was sent which had the picture of the tech (Chuck F) coming out. I was also impressed by Chuck's professionalism. I was really impressed with the service of this company from the moment I called. Very professional!! The tech who came to the house was really nice. When he called to say he was on his way, he even asked if I wanted something cold to drink. That extra attention 👍🏾. The ONLY reason I did not go with this company is the price was out of my budget. The tech tried to make it right, but it just wasn't what we wanted to spend right now. The price is the only reason I gave this company 4 stars. I believe they would have done an excellent job!!

Molly at the call center was friendly, efficient, and personable. She was able to schedule a technician visit for two days after my call. Before his arrival, Jerry texted his picture along with letting me know to expect him in about 20 minutes. He was right on time, courteous, outgoing, knowledgeable, and completed a new torsion spring installation in less than an hour. He gave me some tips on keeping the safety light beam aligned, lubricating the door rollers and drive chain, and adjusting the up/down settings on the door opener. This was my first experience with A1. I came away impressed at the high level of competence and professionalism they displayed.

Lou did a phenomenal job with my garage doors. He called before my appointment time to let me know he was on the way and arrived right on time. He examined the doors and then explained my options complete with pricing as well as pros & cons. Once I decided on a plan, Lou went to work and was done with both doors in just a couple hours. Excellent service. I was impressed with the 24/7 receptionist who was my initial contact. She was very helpful and understanding. She arranged for a work crew to arrive first thing the next morning.Equally impressed with the technician that serviced my garage door. He sent a text message and also called to let me know when he would be arriving.Upon inspection of the damaged door, the technician clearly explained my options for repair and the cost.He got right to work and completed his service within a reasonable time frame. During the course of the repair he made several suggestions about the equipment and possible replacement parts. There was no pressure, but I appreciated the information.An excellent experience. He was personable .. courteous .. efficient.He also called back and apologized for over charging me in the billing process. He told me a refund for the extra charges would be posted to my credit card account.I will call again. Tremendous service and very positive results.A1 should be called A+1.

‘’My garage door opener broke and I needed a technician asap. A1 was very responsive to my concerns and worked around my schedule to fit the job in as quickly as possible. My technician Lou was prompt, friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, I needed a new garage door opener installed as ours was 23 years old. The cost of a new one was higher then I expected, but the service was excellent. When the job was complete Lou walked me through each step of how to use, including the added technology phone app that I could use with to my new garage door opener. My experience with technician Steven was wonderful! He was on time professional and very pleasant. After going over the issues with my current door he was able to give me a few different options as to fixing the current door vs. Buying a new unit. I was very happy with A1, and especially with our most friendly and skilled A1 technician Craig Clark. Our garage door was not operating correctly and it was bitterly cold outside. Craig came, assessed the door system and made the necessary repair. He also explained to me the mechanics of what was causing the door to not close properly, which I appreciated. This was late in the afternoon, and I learned that Craig had finished his last job of the day and was heading home when he heard the dispatch call asking if any technician could help us. If you are having garage door problems, don’t hesitate to call A1! Thank you again Craig for going out of your way to help.

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED with this company. While Craig was here to do the initial assessment he set up an appointment for March 3rd to have my new garage door installed. Upon calling numerous times today they had no records of my appointment nor N invoice nor half the money paid. Everyone that I talked to knew nothing until they found out the paperwork was never submitted just today. Them was told I would receive a call from the door Dept to set up a install possibly Friday 4th of March. Still no call and then called back then was informed had to be contacted from original tech before door installation could be set up. Nothing but a complete waste of my time and money. I missed out on work because I was promised an installation date of March 3rd. Furthermore the company was quick to take my money and since then very very poor customer service!!!!! Now was told that the tech will call me at 8AM March 3rd. It seems like all I have gotten is the run around. Was transferred to the door dept and no one to take the call. My initial part of the review was from the time while the tech was here on the original visit. Since then I would not recommend this company to family or friends EXTREMELY VERY DISAPPOINTED AND DISSATISFIED!!!!!!

On 02/25/22 my garage door tract had a piece break. I called a company who I had done business with 10 years ago.They wanted a $300 emergency trip charge or I could wait until Monday. did not even bother to ask about their other charges.I called A1 Garage Door Service on 02/26/22 and they said someone would come out the next day. Steven L, the technician called when he was on the way and arrived right on time. He was knowledgeable and professional. He did the job right and reprogrammed my vehicles connection to the new opener. He made me aware of a coupon offer that saved me money. I would highly recommend A1 Garage Door Service and Steven L. In my book that was 5 star service.

We recently purchased a mid century modern home with an amazingly preserved original wood garage door. A-1 went out of their way to refurbish and make sure that it worked like new.
