I had a great experience with A1 Garage Door Services, especially with technician David Rice. He was prompt, professional, and exhibited a high level of integrity throughout the entire process. The cost for the garage door tune-up was reasonable, and the quality of service made it well worth the investment. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend their services!

Doug did an outstanding job explaining the different levels of service and support. He also worked to provide me with the best prices available.Andrew did a tremendous job repairing our garage door. He had reattach the cables, reshape the metal tracks, and insert the rollers back into the tracks.Awesome job team!!

BUYER BEWARE**Keep on shopping. Worst service you could ever imagine. Didn't even get the new garage I purchased through them installed.Do not do business with these guys. Wish I had looked on yelp before excepting their services. .Garage fell off tracks onto my truck. Previous homeowners used A1 garage service so I figured I would contract same service (really bad decision not sure what I was thinking)Installer Nathan disassembled garage door from my vehicle without any help. In doing so he put some gnarly scratches on the hood of truck. As tough as this was I let this slide because how am I going to prove it?Ordered a garage door and put $1500 down. The installer had to come out once again to make measurements (why wasn't this done last visit?!?)The installation date for garage door was set for August 10 . Day of install I get a call informing me that they ordered the wrong spring and would need to set me up for install in a month. Reset up appointment for a month later. Installer comes out, dismantled my garage door and then proceeds to tell me that he has the wrong garage door after he reassembled, broken garage door.Called the scheduler to set up appointment and they told me they didn't have anything for another two weeks . Cool I set up another appointment two weeks later. Installer was supposed to contact me by 1 PM. I didn't get a response so I contacted the appointment center at 3 PM and they told me that they would have the installer contact me. No call at 5pm so I called back and they told me he was still on another job. At 6 PM The installer contacted me and told me he was on his way. At 720 pm I get a call from the headquarters that the installer would not be coming out because they had the wrong spring once again..Few other things to mention the installer left bolt in my driveway that dug into the treads of my tires . No big deal it did not puncture my tires (e rated tires) He also left a small amount of trash in my driveway.Save yourself from time, frustration, hassle and money . Look elsewhere.. these guys are a huge scam. So much so I'm going to reach out to the bbb as well (who really has time for this)In the end I have scratches on my hood, bolt in the tire and took off 3 days of work for "installs" and still don't have the door installed.Really bad unethical business. jokes on me I suppose

I had a great experience with A1 Garage Door Service. The repair man arrived right on time, which I really appreciated. While the initial quote for replacing the garage door springs seemed a bit high, they were able to price match with another supplier, which was great. To top it off, the repair man threw in free garage door rollers and even took the time to level my garage door opener and tighten the belt, which will help prolong the life of my opener—something they didn’t even install!He was very professional, patiently answered all my questions, and didn’t rush through the job. I’m really happy with the service and would highly recommend A1 Garage Door Service to anyone needing garage door repairs.

Update: 7/17/24. Because I joined the “Worry Free” program, Henry has come out on several occasions to solve my garage door problems. Today was no exception. Henry has always done a fantastic job with great customer service.Problem solved in about 10 minutes. If I could give more than five stars, Henry would deserve them My garage door is working like a charm.December, 2023Henry H did an excellent job replacing the opener and spring on my 12-year old door in under 4 hours. A1 Garage Door Service will be my go to garage door company from this point forward without exception. Scheduling an appointment was easy, and a real person answered the phone. I received text messages confirming my appointment with a photo of my technician, and a telephone call from Armand letting me know he was on his way. Armad was an outstanding technician and exceptional communicator. He quickly identified my problem and presented several options to resolve my issues. The install was quick as they had all the materials and parts on site, so I didn’t require another appointment. He was efficient and professional on the install and went over everything once he completed the job. I could not be happier with his workmanship.

I highly recommend A1 Garage Door Services to a person like myself who unexpectedly needs a garage door repair!Our garage door unexpectedly stopped working (would not go up manually) that was installed by KB homes. After Realizing that garage door Spring was broken it was time to look for a repair company. After reading reviews on A 1 I decided to go with this company.It was Saturday morning and to no surprise, the day was booked. But to my surprise they offered to repair my garage next day Sunday at no additional cost!Sunday morning received a call from repair man James LaFontaine that his ETA was about 45 minutes.James was informative on what had happened and how it would be fixed.He offered us 3 choices on cost to repair. Our choices no pressure. After we asked his advice, he asked us if this was our forever home? We said yes, that's when he suggested number 2 or 3 because of life time warranty.We went with #3 and could payoff in 6 months No interest.As James started repairs he showed us big differences between old Springs and new Springs. He added new roller to door at no additional cost too us. He also gave us tips on how to properly matane our new Springs.James also had answers before we could ask questions!A 1 thank you for having great Knowledgeable repair men like James Lamontagne.He was awesome!Attached are pictures of after and before on size of Springs.

On New Years Eve, my garage door had a major breakdown ( broken springs, cables, and brackets) trapping my work vehicle in the garage. Naturally, I called the same old garage door company I've used for years. They wanted to charge me $245 JUST to come out to my house! I told them no way. Luckily, I came across A1 online and noticed they had excellent reviews, so I took a chance and called them.Thank God I did. They were at my house a few hours later and only charged $39 to come out. They send you a profile of the technician coming out to your house. Miles showed up and was extremely professional and friendly. He took the time to introduce himself and listen to my concerns. He then spent the next few hours measuring, take pictures, and even broke out a scale to weigh my garage door! He then went over in detail what my options were.He them put a sales consultant on the phone who went over different packages with my wife and I, including financing options. We picked the package that was best for us.Amazingly, they installed my new garage door 3 days later. Even though it was cold outside and it took a few hours, they worked non-stop and did an excellent job!Miles had given me his number the day he was at my house and said if I had any questions to please reach out to him. After everything was completed, I messaged Miles with some questions, and he responded right away.I am very impressed with Miles and A1...as well as my new garage door. I would highly recommend them.

Would highly recommend Henry Hauk! Super smart, knowledge professional who took pride in his work. Didn't try to oversell us but educated us on the hazards and do's and don'ts of trying to DIY our own issue. Get the warranty! Very nice to work with. Our install tech (Caesar) was on time, polite and obviously a master installer. Our garage door was a complete mess and when he was through we could not be happier with the job. The door seals completely when shut. Caesar also went completely through the operation of the door how it works with the options were even programmed my homelink in my car. The home office was a little bit behind the ball on communicating status of when the door came in but that would be the only least bit of a complaint that I have. I would recommend this company to family and friends not necessarily the cheapest that I came across but they seem to have done a very good job and we are happy with the finished product.

Christian came out and fixed our garage door AFTER HOURS and made the garage door even better than it was before. And this was a supposedly new door. I guess they didn’t hire the right man for the job, it was a different company. I wanted to take a minute to comment on the excellent attention and service I have received from A1 Garage Door Service so far! Yesterday after 3:30 my garage door came off its track. I called a couple of places, and A1 said that they could get out here today! Their willingness to acknowledge my problem and empathize with my situation was awesome! Absolutely incredible service! I highly recommend them! I had Christian and Bobby at my house to install a door opener, but ended up getting new springs as well. The original tech was Christian V., who is seriously one of the nicest and most professional people you will ever meet! Since I needed more parts, he called Bobby to drop off a part, but when Bobby got there, he decided to stay and help out with the job, even though he didn't have too! I called for a spring replacement but ended up getting more….but, it was necessary. I have had a spring replaced in the past and I don’t realize the previous guy got a little too excited and caused some damage to the rod. I obviously needed a garage door, called them up same day they came out and looked and gave estimate, told us the eta to install, unfortunately they had some issues, had to reschedule install. Then they tried to reschedule again, due to over booking. Luckily they were able to come and do the job today. Fast instal by Jimmy, he did a wonderful job!
