Greg did a very thorough inspection of our broken garage door and worked hard to come up with a couple of options. In the end, replacing it was the safest solution and Greg worked to get us a price we could manage.Christian installed our new metal door and it looks great. It runs so smoothly and is very quiet compared to the heavy wood door he removed.

First time using A1 Garage door Service, we had an unexpected door issue and it was easy to book (they offer phone or online). Kevin, the tech arrived at the beginning of the 8am-1pm time window we were given - he was polite, efficient, knowledgeable and made me feel at ease about the process. He was also straightforward about potential costs of parts and labor and gave us plenty of options regarding our repair, upgrades, warranties available, all with our budget in mind. He worked quickly and went above and beyond with all the questions I had & even offered tips on homeowner maintenance for the door. Chris Suchla was our technician that came out to service our ancient garage door. Not only did he explain, (in terms we could understand), what was wrong, but gave us multiple options on what we could do to repair it. Then he took the time to give us several quotes, helping us decide what would be the most cost effective for us. Ultimately, he got us such a great deal, we ended up putting in a whole new door and system. Which was only slightly more expensive then all the repairs we needed anyways. We were quite impressed with his customer service, politeness, and his genuine care and concern for his clients. I would recommend Chris and A-1 Garage for all your garage needs.

A1garage door service is very responsive. They sent me a text with a picture introducing my technician. He followed up with a message that he was on his way. Greg was fantastic. He was friendly, explained what my issue was and his recommendation for the repair. My garage was fixed in 1.5 hours. When the repair was complete he went through the itemized bill and showed me the old parts and how to disengage the opener if the power fails. I highly recommend him. Thanks Greg!!

Kevin was wonderful to work with. He arrived promptly, gave both a text and a call notifying us he was on en route and his eta of arrival. He reviewed our situation and gave a very in depth diagnosis explaining what likely lead to our failure and how best to fix it. He gave us multiple options to choose from (good, better, best) to replace our old garage lift motor and critical parts. After deciding what exactly to replace, everything was completed quickly the same day. Great experience! Of course the garage door broke on a Friday evening. I was able to speak with someone immediately on Friday and they scheduled me for Saturday with no weekend up charge! Kevin provided excellent service, he evaluated the problem and provided a detailed explanation about the best approach and options that worked best and were the most economical. He ended up fixing both of our garage doors to avoid another problem down the road and got them both back to good working condition in less than two hours. I couldn’t be more satisfied. Kudos have to go first and foremost to our installer John Garibay! A1 Garage Door Service is very fortunate to have such a committed and dedicated employee on its staff. Our installation was probably problematic to begin with because it was a special order due of size of the door opening and the age of the garage. His ability to problem solve the needed modifications with the materials he had for this 'new installation' were fascinating and perfect for the job. The materials (the door, opener, etc.) suggested by A1 staff were logical, of excellent quality, are easy to operate and it appears they will be easy to maintain. John took time to talk us through the process - it was not a simple installation by any means - and when completed gave a clear, precise tutorial about the door, the new electrical opener, features of its operation, etc. He left the site in immaculate condition with happy customers at this "job well-done". Brandon is awesome!! Great customer service is tough to find these days, but he exceeds my expectations and walks me through everything and answered any questions. We’ve used A1 twice now for our garage door fixes. Both times our projects were done with great care and understanding. Booking my appointment was very easy and the service rep was super accommodating and kind. We had Austin arrived for our second appointment and he was great. He made sure everything was explained, all of our questions were answered and he gave us great info on the functioning of our door. He gave us options to make more updates to our old door, without being overwhelming. When he left, not only did I feel he did a top notch job, was courteous, honest and kind, but he also offered us great info to empower us with the knowledge we need when considering future repairs. When making repairs to our door, or regular maintenance, we’d use A1 again in the future.

Greg completely inspected my garage door and all associated equipment and provided me with a detailed summary of its current status. He provided me with options for my repair and for improving the life expectancy of the system. At no time did I feel any pressure to up grade or to make a purchase that I didn't want. The spring broke on my wooden 2-car garage on a Saturday evening after regular business hours. My vehicles were in the garage and the 280 pound door was too heavy to lift. Called A1 Garage Service to schedule an appointment. Around 1pm the next day was their earliest available time. On Sunday morning, I received a call from A1 around 830am that a serviceman would be available sooner than expected. They asked is the schedule change was OK with me. The A1 caller also mentioned the serviceman by name and that he would call me before his arrival. Corey, the serviceman, called me 15 minutes later to confirm the appointment and sent a text with his photo and brief bio. Upon arrival, Corey assessed the problem and provided options to resolve the problem with costs associated with each option. I was very pleased with Corey’s candor, workmanship and professionalism. No hard sell tactics employed. A1 Garage Service can boast it has earned another satisfied customer. I wholeheartedly recommend them and will not hesitate to utilize their services in the future.

Our technician, Justin, came on one of the coldest days in January. He was very friendly and informative. He always had a smile on his fave. We didn't even have to go outside. We contacted A1 after having issues with our garage door opening, even after being serviced by another company. The tech that came to our house, Justin, was amazing! Super helpful and informative with what was going on and what needed to be done to ensure the garage door was working properly and safely. Having 2 little ones, that was a very important thing for us. He explained where there were problems and fully explained all options we had to resolve them. He priced out a few options and talked us through what financing they had available. At the end of the appointment I was absolutely happy with everything. Steve is an amazing tech installer. He found the issue within five minutes of arrival. He inspected all parts of door and door opener and discovered several more issues which could have resulted in major safety concerns. He replaced all parts to fix all these safety issues. His attention to detail is outstanding. We now have a safe garage door and opener. I would recommend him and A1 Garage Door Service to anyone. I want Steve to come back and do all yearly inspections.

Had the typical experience of something broken, this time my garage door. Called A-1 Garage, got a live person and not voicemail. Good start. Spoke with Nicole and first appointment they had was almost 2 weeks out. I explained my situation and she put me on hold to check with her dispatcher. They could have come late that afternoon but I wouldn’t be home. Nicole checked with the dispatcher again and arranged for a tech to come out that Sunday.Nick came out, immediately identified the problem and had the garage door up and running within a few hours. He also showed me some other issues which I had noticed but didn’t know what it meant and he fixed them also.Superior customer service and installation. Highly, highly recommend them😊

Called A1 because of a broken spring in our garage door. After calling our technician (Rick B.) came out the following day. Was given a window of 8am-1pm. Rick called promptly at 7:55am and said he was on his way. From the very first interaction (phone call to let me know he was on his way), he was respectful, friendly, professional, and personable. He was absolutely fantastic to work with and he didn't mind that I was also working in my garage while he was installing our new opener. The experience was good although I wasn’t expecting to invest in something new. Initial thought was for repairs to be made, not really planning to replace the whole garage door. But, things were explained so that it made sense to go ahead with the project. If anything, it will help should we decide at some point to sell the house. A 12 year old torsion spring was starting to fail putting a strain on our garage door opener. Our tech MKE Corey S 011-S did a thorough inspection and determined most of the 29 year old components were worn out.Although the price seemed extremely high compared to having the torsion spring replaced twice in the past 29 years, the experience with Corey helped.Corey answered all my questions and completed their 29 point safety inspection and did a very good job replacing the components and making adjustments.Our garage door has not worked this good in at least 15 years.Thank you MKE Corey S 011-S!

I had a spring break and it also ruined the garage door opener. I called A1 and they promptly sent out Greg N the next day. Greg called me early the next morning and came right out. Greg was an exceptional technician!! He explained everything to us in a manner that we could easily understand. Greg did a wonderful job of installing everything. He removed all of the old items and was very neat and tidy installing wires and other items. I was impressed with the level of customer service that he provided and cannot remember a time when I have had better. He showed us how all of the new equipment worked and made sure that everything was programmed before he left. On his way out he stopped at my car and took a minute to set the internal system in my car to open the new door. WOW! Could not believe that. Corey S. was our technician he was 100% friendly, professional, efficient, and absolutely knew what he was doing. He thoroughly explained all the options for garage door openers to us and allowed us to choose without pressure. When all was said and done, he explained that some of the other parts on our garage doors were very old and probably weren’t gonna last much longer, and again gave us options for fixing those with no pressure to choose the highest priced options. He showed us how to use the new remotes and keypads and explained their features. Our new openers are SO fancy and so quiet and since this is our hopefully last home, we won’t have to worry about these breaking down anytime soon. A1 and Corey did a fantastic job and I wouldn’t hesitate for a minute recommending them!

My garage door spring broke and Steven came out the next day with all the necessary parts to fix it. It turns out my garage door system parts were all from either 2005 or 2014 and were way beyond their useful life. Steven had all the parts necessary on-hand and he completed everything in about 4 hours. Zach from A1 has come out for an inspection. My wife and I just bought the house and decided an early inspection was the best way to stay ahead of future problems.Zach was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He was happy to explain everything he was doing and why. Who knew that the door opener doesn't actually pull the door open? I didn't! Ended up having to replace door rollers and the opener springs. All other bits and pieces were inspected, adjusted and lubricated as needed.Everything was done quickly and on the spot without a need for another call, with multiple price options presented. Justin was great. Inspected old system which was not working and told me exactly what was worn out and how. He then presented me with all the options that were available to make things right. He explained everything along with the costs. He also explained finance options. We then set up an installation appointment. Working with the sales team from A1 Garage door was nice. They walked through most of the options, I say most because they never mentioned the key entry in case of power outage. Which I think I need.I was told my garage door wouldn't be in until February 2022, my garage door was in really bad shape, my sales rep did fix my old one so it would hold out until Feb. 02-18-2021 I called A1 Garage Service because my garage door wasn't working properly. I found coupons for this company the other day and called the office. The lady at the office answered and at first set a time for Friday but said that she'd squeeze me in today between 1000 and 1500 to get my garage door working sooner. She called me this morning to let me know the time someone would be out in 1 1/2 hours. Nick called and said he was on his way and would be here at 1415. When he got here he asked what brings him out here today? I told him about my garage door not working and he said let's take a look. He was very friendly and I felt so much at ease right away as I felt I was in good hands. He explained what was going on and showed me a few things. He did try to talk about replacing the spring but I didn't want to spend more money on something that's still working. I probably could've called another garage service place in town but I didn't think of them at the time. This place isn't the most reasonable. Jonathon was an excellent technician. He went through my options with me thoroughly but in an easy to understand way and was able to identify other problems that he solved immediately. Even though I spent more than the original quote because of other parts needing to be replaced, I am happy with the level of service I received. I contacted A1 Garage Service for our garage door and when I called, a person answered the phone immediately. No leaving a message. I set up a day for A1 to come over and look at our garage door. I couldn't believe it that A1 Garage Service was open on a Sunday. Jed from the A1 Garage Service was at my door at 8:00 am. He told me it would take a hour and a half to fix our garage door. So I approved the service to be done. It was incredible the door worked beautifully. Great service and kind people.

I had wonderful experience with the company before, but this time - it was fantastic! I needed to install garage opener, in my case it was very complicated - the door was previously installed too high and it was not enough space for the opener. It was great technician Greg who generated the idea how to do it without costly door replacement! The job was done fast, everything is working perfectly.
