The Genie PowerLift 900 is a 1/2 HPc DC motor with a screw drive system that can lift heavy residential garage doors that weigh up to 500 lbs. and up to 8 feet in height. It has a patented direct drive technology that delivers maximum lifting force and reliability. Its screw drive system is geared for maintenance-free performance. At the same time, it has a SmartSet push button programming for fast and easy set up. The Genie PowerLift 900 has an Auto Seek Dual Frequency System that will automatically seek either the 315 or 390 MHz frequency produced by a remote, helping to ensure the opener will respond regardless of nearby frequency interference.
The Genie PowerLift 900 has the following safety technology integrated:
- Safe-T-Beam Non-Contact Reversing System which puts an invisible beam across the door opening. It stops and reverses the door to an open position if anything passes through the beam.
- IntelliCode Access Security System which is a superior encryption technology or rolling codes that prevents piracy of the radio signal and sends new codes to ensure safe access to the garage door.
- HomeLink & Car2U Compatibility ensures that your garage door opener will work with all HomeLink and Car2U systems regardless of when these systems were made. The Genie PowerLift 900 does not require any additional external repeater box or compatibility bridge.
- Aladdin Connect which is a smart device enabled garage door controller that allows you to keep tabs on your garage door from anywhere in the word through your smart device.
