A belt drive system with a ¾ HPc Power Plus motor, the Genie SilentMax 1000 can operate any residential garage door to as high as 7 feet high. The main selling point of the Genie SilentMax is its intensely quiet operation, with soft and smooth starts and stops. It has a two 100-watt bulb lighting system that allows for convenience and safety.

The Genie SilentMax 1000 is outfitted with the Auto Seek Dual Frequency System that ensures the fast response of the garage door opener regardless of any nearby interference. It also has a SmartSet programming that allows for fast and easy programming setup. It makes use of the GenieSense Monitoring and Diagnostic Technology to deliver the power needed at every moment of the garage door, including during its continuous operation, stopping movement when there are significant changes. This technology also minimizes noise, wear and tear and enhances safety.

2. Safety Features

The Genie SilentMax 1200 has the following safety technology integrated:

• Safe-T-Beam Non-Contact Reversing System which puts an invisible beam across the door opening. It stops and reverses the door to an open position if anything passes through the beam.
• IntelliCode Access Security System which is a superior encryption technology or rolling codes that prevents piracy of the radio signal and sends new codes to ensure safe access to the garage door.
• HomeLink & Car2U Compatibility ensures that your garage door opener will work with all HomeLink and Car2U systems regardless of when these systems were made. The Genie SilentMax 1200 does not require any additional external repeater box or compatibility bridge.
• Aladdin Connect which is a smart device enabled garage door controller that allows you to keep tabs on your garage door from anywhere in the word through your smart device.
