Other than the major surprise of a $59.95 tune up turning into $500 plus, it was great. The door finally fits into the frame, runs very smoothly, and quiet. Mike pointed out the problems and let us decide what to do. He was efficient, fast, and knew his work.I hope for excellent work from our door in the future. Mike did great work.

I needed repairs on my 19 year old garage door opener and was promptly scheduled service. The tech Alex communicated the timing of his arrival. After an inspection he explained the problems and presented solutions. He didn't try to "up sale" or replace parts that didn't need it. He set up the new controllers/pads and helped to install the app on my phone. He made sure I understood the new procedures and settings. This new technology is great.I have no hesitation in recommending A1 Garage Door Services. Great customer service. Very professional.

Alex was super nice and knew right away what the problem was. He fixed it and gave the door a once over. He also complied some options and applied absolutely zero pressure to make a decision. Eric, the technician, texted and called before his arrival. He is very capable and knowledgeable about his installation and his product. He informed me that the door had broken the garage door opener, and the springs that were used with the new door were incorrect. The door weighs 200 lbs. When I had the door replaced, I was not told to do anything about the garage door opener or the springs. Eric has a wonderful work ethic and is very efficient. Thank you, Eric, and A 1!!!

Mike Hess did a terrific job by replacing one of the springs, all the rollers, and selected hardware on our two garage doors. In addition, he installed a reinforcement support bracket for the opener on the larger door, reworked the mountings of the closure sensors for both doors, and installed auxiliary circuit breakers on the outlets for both openers. The new components were then lubricated as applicable and fine adjustments were made to ensure smooth operation. Mike assisted with our enrollment in the Worry Free Club, and the resulting savings were applied to our invoice. After all this work, he patiently took time to help set-up the MyQ app on my phone to enable remote opening/closing, including talking with the application technical support personnel to assist with connectivity. Very pleased!

Alex is fantastic! He clearly explained all the options for replacing the spring door and advised me on what needed replacing and what didn't. During the installation, he spotted wear and tear on the wire and immediately let me know, warning that it could be more costly if the wire broke. He truly went above and beyond! I highly recommend this company to everyone!

We were faced with a total garage door problem because I did not know how to program a new outside keypad. Justin and Bryce were great! They showed up right at 8am and diagnosed the problem immediately (20 year old motor finally started going out). They were quick with the installation of the new motor and provided a tune-up for the garage. Both of them were very personable and felt genuine! He was very proud of his job! He took great pride in making sure my garage functional. He pointed out how the original install was incorrect. My adjusted the garage door components as much as he could without having to unbolt everything for an overhaul. My garage door is running smoother than before and a whole lot quieter. He showed that the previous garage door repair company used too weak of springs for my garage door.

A1 Garage Doors are the best. I had them here 2 years ago to replace my motor. Recently I had them come by to fix the rubber seal at the bottom. It was coming off. Great customer service, very professional, did more than expected. For example, I hadn't linked my garage door opener and camera to my phone. Mike talked me through it step by step. I had the best experience with A1Garage/TMII Enterprises LLC.We had moved into a house with 3 car garage. One side of the garage had an ~8 year old opener. The other side of the garage was manual, so we wanted a second opener installed.Eric Bennett was polite and professional. He took the time to go through the quotes and my questions.His recommended solution was to move the old garage opener to the smaller/less used side of the garage. Then install the new garage door opener on the side we use most. I hadn’t thought of this before his arrival, and knew it was the best solution, plus adding longevity to our current frame.We’re happy with the outcome and thankful for their service. Mike and his assistant contacted me only 15 mins after requesting a visit to repair my door and were at my door only 15 mins later! He was very professional and quickly gave me an estimate of the work to replace my broken opener and a new spring. Freaking Amazing! I have two doors, one motor went out and A1 sent Justin to the rescue! He is a great listener which allowed him to solve every problem I had! He even did a quick maintenance to the other door! He installed new rollers, helped me program multiple openers including my car, educated me on my garage door, and walked me thru the app for the new opener. Mike did an amazing job with our broken garage door. He didn't intimidate me into buying/repairing anything I didn't want to or talk down to me because I am a woman. I often feel this way when I get my car fixed or something similar, so it is very important to me that a service person does not treat me that way. Furthermore, Mike explained all of my options clearly and concisely. When I couldn't take the option that was best due to financial restrictions on my part (our door and spring are in pretty bad shape and need to be fully replaced, but the expense is just just too high because new doors are not cheap), Mike went above and beyond to fix what we have by replacing as many parts as possible within our budget to make it safe and stable for continued use. He saved us about $500 as well! I am very grateful to him for his great work, his integrity, and the kindness he showed me and my family.

Alex, our technician was fantastic! Our garage door had completely collapsed and had our car trapped inside the garage. Eric was wonderful to work with. What I hoped would be an easy opener fix turned into a spring, hardware and new opener project. Basically, the spring bracket lag screws pulled out of the wood which caused everything to get out of whack, thus warping hardware which caused additional load on the opener. This problem had probably existed for some time as we've experienced intermittent issues with the opener. Eric thoroughly explained the situation and gave us price options to proceed. Job well done sir!

Extremely professional company. As a single woman, I appreciated the fact that they send a picture of the tech who is coming to your house so you don’t open the door to a person you’ve never seen before. Eric made our requested spring replacement and suggested other helpful improvements, secured and replaced loose bolts, straightened brackets and left a good impression on my parent in-laws who met with him while I was at work. Alex E called and he was on his way and he was at my house within 5 minutes. We initially just needed the garage door opener installed which he did in a timely manner. He also pointed out several things that were a concern. The bearings were bad on the torsion rod. These were original parts when the house was built in 1989. So my wife and I decided to go with the over haul as well.Alex E was very professional and he had a very pleasant demeanor. He explained in layman terms what he was going to do. Justin B came to fix my garage door- both cables were off the drums. He did a great job thoroughly explaining the various options, financial options and estimating how long it would last me. What a great experience from start to end! The customer service was outstanding on the phone, then I was sent a confirmation text of my appointment time (which happened to be after hours) I was sent a text stating who my tech would be a short bio, along with his photo. I appreciated knowing who to expect before he arrived.He was all smiles even though he was at my home after hours. He fully explained what my costs would be, what the problem is, and how he would fix it. After Justin fixed the garage door, he adjusted everything and made sure it was functioning properly. He went over everything on the system with us including what kind of maintenance we would need down the road, he answered our questions, and was not rushed.I was hesitant to call such a big company, but I am pleasantly surprised!!Oh, and they were the first of company of the five I called that would send out a tech after hours, even though they all claim to be 24 hrs.

Justin B provided terrific service repairing mom’s garage door after she backed into it with her car.I thought she’d be buying an entirely new door based on another company’s Bid which I thought was extremely overpriced.So I called A1 & Justin B assessed the damages and offered a few options. Thankfully, he was able to repair moms garage door, add more bracing to strengthen it, & adjust and straighten tracks. Aside from a couple cosmetic blemishes (only noticeable from inside), moms door is better than before, and functions properly.She did choose to replace, & in fact upgrade the big spring w/ the lifetime transferable warranty option, and still her total was less than half another company’s bid for repairs.Not only was A1 able to repair her door, but the savings for someone on a fixed income, at least made the expenses manageable.Justin B was great, and since I actually had a broken door spring as well at my house a couple blocks over, A1 sent Justin over same day to replace it. We had two garage doors replaced; a single and a double. We received an email notification that the installer was on his way. Zach W. arrived right on time. He introduced himself and then explained the entire process. He gave us time to ask questions and happily answered them. He set up in our garage and got to work. After he unpacked the new door panels, he asked us to come look at them to make sure it was what we had ordered. Everything was perfect and he got back to work. Zach worked nonstop for hours until he was finished. When he was finished he did a walkthrough with us to make sure we were pleased with everything. Zach is a perfectionist and it shows in his work. His attention to detail is amazing from the placement of wires to alignment of the rails. He explained how everything worked from the remotes (that he programmed) to the keypads and the myQ app. I truly believe he left our garage cleaner when he was finished then when he arrived! Definite emergency. Spring coil broke on garage door. Contacted A1, spoke with Linda and Stephanie. Both were professional and awesome.Coy was my technician and was beyond 5 stars. Notified me when he was on the way. We walked through the repairs before anything was fixed. Coy stepped through all options and warranties based on springs, coils rollers. Coy made all of the repairs and did a preventive maintenance inspection, as well as lubed all required parts. Jesse Foster did a great job. He was straightforward and upfront about modifications to my current setup that needed to be made in order to enhance my garage door’s longevity and reliability. Nathan was fabulous! He called just before to let me know he was on the way. He was so compassionate to my situation because I was emotional due to having to move my late husband’s car out so he could install them. Once he arrived, I was in tears again because it was time to move the car. He talked me through it and that helped me back it out. Justin English was freaking fantastic and very very very informative!! I loved his character and optimistic personality and he extensively provided me with the information on my existing pull system, which by experience so far I would have had to get fixed again in the next year or 2 for another $500, and I was more than happy to go with his recommendation for my new life time no worries guaranteed warranty he installed right then and there. Payment plans available for 12 or even 24 months with no interest which is phenomenal. Even if you don’t pay it off before the deadline, which my total was $1,146.46, they won’t add the interest from the initial total like others do so if something comes up and you’re not able to finish paying and only have a little left to pay off? They only add the interest to your existing amount. Thanks again Justin!!!!
