Extremely professional company. As a single woman, I appreciated the fact that they send a picture of the tech who is coming to your house so you don’t open the door to a person you’ve never seen before. They text when they are on the way and call with an estimated time of arrival.My tech, Eric was very professional, very knowledgeable and very kind. He told me exactly what was wrong with my garage door, all the things he would check and gave me upfront pricing before starting the job.I had previously called another company who came out and their price was much higher and professionalism much lower. I would choose A-1 again hands down.

Eric made our requested spring replacement and suggested other helpful improvements, secured and replaced loose bolts, straightened brackets and left a good impression on my parent in-laws who met with him while I was at work. Alex E called and he was on his way and he was at my house within 5 minutes. We initially just needed the garage door opener installed which he did in a timely manner. He also pointed out several things that were a concern. The bearings were bad on the torsion rod. These were original parts when the house was built in 1989. So my wife and I decided to go with the over haul as well.Alex E was very professional and he had a very pleasant demeanor. He explained in layman terms what he was going to do. I would highly recommend your company and especially Alex E.

Alex did a really great job both identifying what caused my garage door opener failure and talking through with my fiance the best course of actions to do the repair. Great job. Alex Showed up at designated time, assessed the damage, and proceeded to fix the door which I knocked off the tracks. Really knowledgeable. Sunday night at 8 and he was still customer oriented. I was impressed. I thought it would take a team to fix it but Alex knew he could do it alone and did! Highly recommend.

Justin B came to fix my garage door- both cables were off the drums. He did a great job thoroughly explaining the various options, financial options and estimating how long it would last me. I have had several home repairs in the last couple of months. I do not have BEFORE photos but I installed the garage door opener myself and he made sure it was installed correctly. I appreciated his honesty in going over the options and not trying to upsell me. I have used A1 at my previous house and they have always done quality work and offer great pricing! What a great experience from start to end! The customer service was outstanding on the phone, then I was sent a confirmation text of my appointment time (which happened to be after hours) I was sent a text stating who my tech would be a short bio, along with his photo. I appreciated knowing who to expect before he arrived.He was all smiles even though he was at my home after hours. He fully explained what my costs would be, what the problem is, and how he would fix it. After Justin fixed the garage door, he adjusted everything and made sure it was functioning properly. He went over everything on the system with us including what kind of maintenance we would need down the road, he answered our questions, and was not rushed.I was hesitant to call such a big company, but I am pleasantly surprised!!Oh, and they were the first of company of the five I called that would send out a tech after hours, even though they all claim to be 24 hrs.

Justin B. Was the best. We had a broken spring. He took time to explain everything and was never pushy on options. Rubber on the bottom was slightly off for years. He helped refit the rubber cushion, cleaned, and lubricated both my garage doors. Ask for Justin.

Justin B provided terrific service repairing mom’s garage door after she backed into it with her car.I thought she’d be buying an entirely new door based on another company’s Bid which I thought was extremely overpriced.So I called A1 & Justin B assessed the damages and offered a few options. Thankfully, he was able to repair moms garage door, add more bracing to strengthen it, & adjust and straighten tracks. Aside from a couple cosmetic blemishes (only noticeable from inside), moms door is better than before, and functions properly.She did choose to replace, & in fact upgrade the big spring w/ the lifetime transferable warranty option, and still her total was less than half another company’s bid for repairs.Not only was A1 able to repair her door, but the savings for someone on a fixed income, at least made the expenses manageable.Justin B was great, and since I actually had a broken door spring as well at my house a couple blocks over, A1 sent Justin over same day to replace it. We had two garage doors replaced; a single and a double. We received an email notification that the installer was on his way. Zach W. arrived right on time. He introduced himself and then explained the entire process. He gave us time to ask questions and happily answered them. He set up in our garage and got to work. After he unpacked the new door panels, he asked us to come look at them to make sure it was what we had ordered. Everything was perfect and he got back to work. Zach worked nonstop for hours until he was finished. When he was finished he did a walkthrough with us to make sure we were pleased with everything. Zach is a perfectionist and it shows in his work. His attention to detail is amazing from the placement of wires to alignment of the rails. He explained how everything worked from the remotes (that he programmed) to the keypads and the myQ app. I truly believe he left our garage cleaner when he was finished then when he arrived! We can definitely recommend A1 Garage Door Service for all your garage door needs and if you’re lucky enough to get Zach, you will be very pleased!

Alexander presented himself as a very knowledgeable professional. A delightful young man. Very patient and kind in explaining the entire process. Definite emergency. Spring coil broke on garage door. Contacted A1, spoke with Linda and Stephanie. Both were professional and awesome.Coy was my technician and was beyond 5 stars. Notified me when he was on the way. We walked through the repairs before anything was fixed. Coy stepped through all options and warranties based on springs, coils rollers. Coy made all of the repairs and did a preventive maintenance inspection, as well as lubed all required parts. While not part of the original work, I asked Coy to inspect our other garage door; he made the recommendation to replace the spring and rollers.Both doors are smooth and quiet. Jesse Foster did a great job. He was straightforward and upfront about modifications to my current setup that needed to be made in order to enhance my garage door’s longevity and reliability. He gave me a few choices in options, and after discussing them with him I am confident he gave me sound advice to make the best decision. He arrived early, and even after running into some unforeseen problems, still got the job done in the amount of time he and I talked about. Very professional, quick, and thorough.I couldn’t get other garage door companies to answer or return my calls. I initially wanted to stay local, and thought that some of the smaller local companies would be cheaper. But if they won’t pick up the phone, it doesn’t do you any good. A1 may be a bigger company with a main office in another state but I will be recommending them to anyone who asks. They may even be more expensive, but I think they are worth it. Thanks again!

From booking my appointment with Linda, who by the way, was very nice in helping me expedite my appointment to Jesse, the technician, who did the repair work. I unfortunately had a spring break on my garage door when I got home from work on Tuesday. A1 Garage Door is hands down the BEST service company top to bottom that I have ever dealt with. From the extremely nice young man who answered my call and got my appointment scheduled, all the way to the technician Cody Paulk(who should really consider a comedy career!) I can't say enough about his demeanor and overall love for his company and his craft. At first, I was EXTREMELY skeptical with the difference in price between A1 and the other companies I received quotes from, but after the AMAZING overall experience and truly unbelievable customer service I received from Cody, I can confidently say... It is WELL WORTH the price difference between them and some of the other companies. From explaining every step of the repair so I could understand, to pointing out any additional parts that may give my door trouble in the future, Cody absolutely blew me away with his knowledge, professionalism and expertise in his craft. Mike was my service technician. He was very knowledgeable, experienced, professional and customer oriented. He completed a multi-check inspection and then reviewed with me what he would be doing. After the service he tested everything; he programmed the system and went over the operation of the system. Mike was very enthusiastic about the job and took pride in his work. Had them fix my home garage door. Showed up on time, explained my options clearly then completed job quickly and effectively. Also, I responsible for the storage and other properties for my church and had some garage door issues I needed fixed. Called A1 and Mr. Cody was on the spot. Temporarily fixed one small garage door that needs a panel replaced but told me to wait until prices come back down and it will save money in long run. Figured out what was going on with are large overhead door in storage building but needed to order parts. When part got in he got fixed right away. Completely happy at very reasonable prices.

Nathan was fabulous! He called just before to let me know he was on the way. He was so compassionate to my situation because I was emotional due to having to move my late husband’s car out so he could install them. Once he arrived, I was in tears again because it was time to move the car. He talked me through it and that helped me back it out. He continued to just listen and understand what I was going through as he installed the doors. What was great was he didn’t rush me and answered every question until I had no other. Cody Paulk came out this morning to fix our garage door where screws on the arm were striped and pulled out of the door fixture. He was prompt and had great communication with us when he was on his way to our home. He was extremely courteous and professional! Justin English was freaking fantastic and very very very informative!! I loved his character and optimistic personality and he extensively provided me with the information on my existing pull system, which by experience so far I would have had to get fixed again in the next year or 2 for another $500, and I was more than happy to go with his recommendation for my new life time no worries guaranteed warranty he installed right then and there. Payment plans available for 12 or even 24 months with no interest which is phenomenal. Even if you don’t pay it off before the deadline, which my total was $1,146.46, they won’t add the interest from the initial total like others do so if something comes up and you’re not able to finish paying and only have a little left to pay off? They only add the interest to your existing amount. Thanks again Justin!!!!

Mike and Joey did an excellent job installing and recommending the right lift master. Very professional and very punctual. Previous technicians weren't as knowledgeable about maintenance for the door and installed lesser quality parts.
