This was the best service repair service I’ve ever had! They texted me ahead of my appointment. My technician Seth Huckabee called me shortly after and gave me a time he would be here. He was right on time and was very friendly, he inspected my problems very thoroughly and showed me what my problems were. My garage door is over 25 years old and needed a lot of work. He gave me several options and quality of parts and he explained each option very well. Once he had it apart he found another small problem. He repaired it at no extra cost! He operated it several times to be sure it worked well and assured that I was happy with the repairs. Thank you Seth for great service! I would highly recommend this service company!

Had a new garage door opener installed and new rollers. The door would not go up or down and the remote did not work--20 minutes after it was finished---was then told -no one was available to correct it till next day. NOT good.Mid day--another technician did come--named Ethan and was totally able to fix wiring problem--in about 12 minutes.Ethan was marvelous.Not sure if I would do more business here.

Jeremy showed up at the scheduled time for a tune up. I knew something was wrong because the door kept making loud popping noises. He pointed out that the springs were about to fail and the bracket holding the springs was through the sheet rook and about to fail totally. He had everything needed on his truck fortunately. He completed the job in a couple of hours. I wasn't expecting the expensive amount, but he gave me a senior discount which helped. Satisfied my door now works properly and safely.

Had Jeremy out this morning to check my opener that was acting up. It was determined that it had seen its better days and was time for a replacement. After giving me three choices explaining the differences between each and what they cost one was chosen and he got to work. I am absolutely impressed with the service from A1 Garage Door Service. From calling to set up the appointment to seeing the finished result of the garage door repairs. I also like the way A1 introduces the technician by email and text that will be coming to do the repairs. Seeing Joel Kaufman's photo and reading a little about him, felt like I already knew him when he showed up. I couldn't be more pleased with Joel's friendly attitude, his knowledge, showing and explaining everything about what repairs were needed, made me very confident I was getting excellent repairs done. Would 100% recommend A1 for anyone looking for garage door repair. We had a garage door that got out of its track and Joel came by and thoroughly explained all of our options and the door works better than it ever did. He also did a courtesy inspection on our main garage door and found a critical safety issue and was able to get that repaired the same day. We would have had no idea there was any issue until the cable to our garage snapped, which could have caused potential injury and would been an extreme expense. Very thankful to have found a reputable company like A1 and will be requesting Joel for future maintenance needs.

Chris gave excellent service, very attentive to detail. Door looks and works great. He explained everything in detail afterward, helped me set up "my Q" on my phone to use as an extra remote. He did the frameout on the original opening frame (for reinforcement). A+kudos to a great young man. Also, thanks to Joel, salesman, who explained everything well and came out on a Sunday afternoon after our garage door broke and locked the door down till we could get it fixed. Excellent communication and moved our spring replacement up as they could. Very happy with Joel’s service! Well trained, explained everything, professional in every way. There was some sticker shock for sure though! Replaced broken single spring with double spring 25000 cycle with 5yr warranty. Also replaced both bearings on the cable pulleys. One definitely needed. $1100!! Not sure we over paid or not. Very glad to get such good and timely service though!

A1 responded quickly to my garage door situation. I had two gentlemen come replace the springs on my garage door. One spring had broken, the door was down, the car was inside the garage and it was pretty cold outside!!!Joel Kaufman was my technician but another technician, Brennan, came and also helped.The were very professional but still made me feel very relaxed and confident in all our communication. I waited for someone for 3.5 hours the day before to show up. We had to call to figure out why we were stood up. Wasn’t offered any type of discounts or anything for my time. I had a garage door off the rail, a pulley with loosely wound cabling, and a snapped motor chain. Joel introduced himself, I showed him the situation and he asked some questions about the door, took photos of the problem areas, constantly assessing every component of the door and motor explaining how all the components are supposed to work together. In short, Joel assessed that I needed a replacement because too many components on an overhead builders grade door were faulty. He did go ahead and put my door on the rail again and loosen the spring to get the door to fully close. I’d say within thirty minutes on the 4th of July no less we had Cory from sales on the phone getting an estimate. I couldn’t have had a more satisfying experience with a knowledgeable tech in tandem with his customer care mentality. Spot on.

Would highly recommend this company. The receptionist was very nice and pleasant to talk with. Our service technician Joel was very professional and courteous. Offering to grab me something from the convenient store before he headed to my house. Joel was very professional and customer satisfaction-oriented through the whole service call. He arrived less than 3hrs of me calling. He was very presentable and was someone I felt very comfortable having at my house even if I was away. I really felt like this was a company I could recommend to friends and family, which never happens. The prices aren't cheap but neither is the company or it's employees, they are indeed top notch!

Chad and Josh were scheduled to be here between 1 and 6 but called around 11 and were here around 30 minutes later.We were hoping our door issue was fixable but once Chad and Josh did their diagnostics we realized we were needing a new door and parts. Ephraim texted ahead of time to inform me he was on the way and was very timely with his arrival. Very polite and explained to me all that was going on with my door. He told me what all needed to be done, what he was going to do, as well as what else would need to be done. Smooth process from start to finish! When I called the office, the scheduler was courteous and efficiently found a convenient time for them to send a technician. We contacted multiple garage door companies in the area. Only two responded back and A1 was the only one that acted like they actually wanted our business. The customer service rep who set up our appointment was very nice and booked us a time that worked for us. Communication from A1 was excellent. We received both text and email reminders of our appointment time. On the day of the appointment DEAN called and let us know he was a little early and on his way. He arrived right when he said he would and was very nice. He knew exactly what the issue was when he heard our garage door open. He told us about one of their motors but when we told him what it was we were looking for in our system he immediately knew of another product. I called A1 Garage Door for a random quote along with other companies. They were able to schedule my appointment within the same week, on a weekend day without any struggles. I have to say that this group of folks had the best customer service I have ever experienced ; start to finish. They person who took me call was super friendly and worked with me very easily to book the appointment. They had me at a window that was I think from 8-1. $2000+ for a set of springs(4) seems high. If it weren't for the fact that both my cars were stuck in the garage and I needed at least one out I would have called around; my neighbor who is a builder said that price seemed "higher than giraffe balls". I had no problem with the technician at all, He was prompt, courteous and did a great job in the 100+ degree garage. A manager did call me and explained the situation which I now totally understand since my garage door weighs over 500 lbs and the pandemic has created a supply chain issue for a lot of their materials. That being said, he was extremely professional and wanted to make sure I was happy. I will use them for all my future garage door problems (although hopefully not for awhile........)

First, can I just say that I loved how professional and prompt this company is? I called at 10 a.m. in a panic for a service call, and by 10:15 someone had already sent me a confirmation email and text for my same day appointment. I was quoted a time between 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. By 12:30, I recieved a call and text from Technician, Dean A. stating he was on his way.Dean came and assessed the situation and by situation I mean...I backed out of my garage and hit my door and boy, did I do some damage. (CANNOT believe I did this!) Dean gave me a quote immediately and promised to do what he could for us. Mind you, our garage door was completely down off the track. Not good! My garage door spring broke on 4/10/21 and I called A1 Garage. They scheduled a repair for 4/11. Chris was the tech and was very professional, competent and knowledgeable. Chris replaced both springs in my 2 car garage. The cost to replace 2 springs with labor was $736.00. A1 also had another option for lifetime guaranty for even more $ but I declined. I thought this was a high price to replace 2 springs but Chris assured me this was a competitive price. I did not check other prices and am hoping that is the truth.

Had my garage door come crashing down from a broken spring as we were moving in to our home. Justin T. came out and was friendly, factual, and professional. Justin was able to show other shortcomings from prior repairs that were not right. He gave us the good, the bad, and the ugly in thorough detail. Made a stressful situation an ease. Justin even gave a line up of options since we wanted a bit of connectivity with our door and a bit of security. The technician, Alex De Guzman was at my home right when he said he would be. He determined the spring failed and was able to explain to us how and why that happened in a professional, easy to understand manner. He presented options suitable to my budget and requirements. I didn’t even need to reschedule for the repair itself. Alex was able to complete the repair during the same visit! The punctuality, knowledge, and professionalism were outstanding! Tech Jason was very pleasant, fun to work with. Ended up with almost complete overhaul of garage door lift system. A lot more than I planned at this time of year but the system sounds so much better.
