Seth was great when he came out. Seems very knowledgeable and was super kind.Unfortunately when I scheduled the appointment whoever scheduled me did it wrong. I waited for someone for 3.5 hours the day before to show up. We had to call to figure out why we were stood up. Wasn’t offered any type of discounts or anything for my time. My problem was not fixed, but that wasn’t the technicians fault.

Your tech, Joel K, provided service to my mother this afternoon. She (and therefore I) could not be more pleased. I had a garage door off the rail, a pulley with loosely wound cabling, and a snapped motor chain. Joel introduced himself, I showed him the situation and he asked some questions about the door, took photos of the problem areas, constantly assessing every component of the door and motor explaining how all the components are supposed to work together. In short, Joel assessed that I needed a replacement because too many components on an overhead builders grade door were faulty. He did go ahead and put my door on the rail again and loosen the spring to get the door to fully close. I’d say within thirty minutes on the 4th of July no less we had Cory from sales on the phone getting an estimate. I couldn’t have had a more satisfying experience with a knowledgeable tech in tandem with his customer care mentality. Spot on.

Door had missing and loose screw. Door was shaking, very late arrival after 3 changes. Nice young man but had to get Detroit. Outside door pad control not synchronized. Door will not open from outside. Repair man said I need to call for for a tech. Person Bet I will not receive a call. Thanks

Zach came out to install our new door and motor. He was very kind. He explained the process so I knew exactly what to expect. He verified that what I was getting matched up with what I had purchased, right down to the color. Once installed, he went over some of the features that I needed to know about. I was very, very pleased with Mr. Brennan Bowen’s professional get-the-job-done and do it according to my homeowners warranty regulations. Would highly recommend this company. The receptionist was very nice and pleasant to talk with. Our service technician Joel was very professional and courteous. Offering to grab me something from the convenient store before he headed to my house. Joel was very professional and customer satisfaction-oriented through the whole service call. He arrived less than 3hrs of me calling. He was very presentable and was someone I felt very comfortable having at my house even if I was away. I really felt like this was a company I could recommend to friends and family, which never happens. The prices aren't cheap but neither is the company or it's employees, they are indeed top notch!

A1 was excellent! The tech, Dean Adams, was amazing! He installed and adjusted everything, including replacing a cracked brace on the garage door, showed us how to use the system, helped us download it to our phones, even helped us reprogram our in-car remotes. He arrived promptly, advised me on what was absolutely needed for the repair of my door, gave some extra suggestions noting they were recommended but not needed to make the door work, but explained why I might want to go ahead. Amazing service. Justin came to replace our garage door opener but he took time to educate me about the whole operation of the door. He answered all my questions and addressed my concerns with my current set up. I got an awesome opener and updated some other components so now I know my garage door is something I don’t have to worry about!Justin was an amazing technician who did great work. Chad and Josh were scheduled to be here between 1 and 6 but called around 11 and were here around 30 minutes later.We were hoping our door issue was fixable but once Chad and Josh did their diagnostics we realized we were needing a new door and parts. They were here for almost 4 plus hours and were able to get our door working even better than before.Both were personable, friendly, and professional and we were most appreciative of their work and effort.We are now waiting for our new door itself which hopefully will be sooner than later and we're looking forward to having them back for the installation.Very happy with what got done and had great conversations. Ephraim texted ahead of time to inform me he was on the way and was very timely with his arrival. Very polite and explained to me all that was going on with my door. He told me what all needed to be done, what he was going to do, as well as what else would need to be done. He also assisted me with trying to program my remotes (but there was an issue that was interfering with completion). However, he did tell me about, and helped me with, connecting to Aladdin Connect, the phone app for garages. I had never even heard of this but am so thankful to Ephraim for this bit of information. I am now able to open and close my door from my phone. He was very, very, helpful. Job well done.

Smooth process from start to finish! When I called the office, the scheduler was courteous and efficiently found a convenient time for them to send a technician. The Seth (the technician) contacted me in a timely manner the day of the service And arrived at exactly the appointed time. Gave me an estimate for one hour of repair, and was done inside of 45 minutes. Provided me with multiple options for repair and replacement and gave me prices for each. We contacted multiple garage door companies in the area. Only two responded back and A1 was the only one that acted like they actually wanted our business. The customer service rep who set up our appointment was very nice and booked us a time that worked for us. Communication from A1 was excellent. We received both text and email reminders of our appointment time. On the day of the appointment DEAN called and let us know he was a little early and on his way. He arrived right when he said he would and was very nice. He knew exactly what the issue was when he heard our garage door open. He told us about one of their motors but when we told him what it was we were looking for in our system he immediately knew of another product. We loved what the system offered and how QUIET the motor was. He had it installed quickly, answered our questions, and even helped us set it up in the app. DEAN was very nice and very knowledgeable. An all-around GREAT employee to work with.We are EXTREMELY grateful that we called A1 on the recommendation from a friend. We HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend DEAN and A1.

Tech Chad was very professional, informative & personable while doing a much needed tune-up on my garage door. I am satisfied with the completed maintenance for today. A1 performed excellent service! Chad was our technician who called to let us know he was on his way to our home. He told me he was stopping to get gas at our local convenient store and could he bring me a coffee. I was blown away over the years I have had hundreds of repairs and was never treated with as much thoughtfulness as today. I called A1 Garage Door for a random quote along with other companies. They were able to schedule my appointment within the same week, on a weekend day without any struggles. They spent a few minutes to ask me questions regarding our needs, our existing equipment, etc. On the day of our scheduled appointment, I received a call, email and text that the service guy (Seth) was on his way and would arrive within 10 minutes.Seth arrived, asked me a few more questions, explained the options and even showed me the quoted amounts in comparison format for all of the options. He was patient, not pushy and was basically there to help with our needs. He was able to schedule an install for a later/convenient time or he could do it right then. We went forward, he had all of the product, installed, double checked, instructed and helped us set up all of the controllers, set the keypad to our requested code and cleaned up extremely well.I highly recommend A1 Garage Doors for any of the services they offer. Customer service is a priority for this company along with customer satisfaction. Seth is the best salesman I have worked with. He knows the products!

I honestly don’t take the time to review most companies. HOWEVER… This company is worth it. My wife and I had them install garage door openers for our home and they not only did an incredible job BUT… one of our doors was missing a strut for durability and Dean (one of the specialists) said he would come back out and personally make sure it was installed.Dean went above and beyond. I have to say that this group of folks had the best customer service I have ever experienced ; start to finish. They person who took me call was super friendly and worked with me very easily to book the appointment. They had me at a window that was I think from 8-1. The driver called me @ 8:15 and was at my house at 8:30. Super friendly and personable tech. Gave me my options to fix my problem and told me it's be 40 minutes to 45. He was done in 30 and explained every detail if what was done. Really great performance all around for this group. Highly recommend!

$2000+ for a set of springs(4) seems high. If it weren't for the fact that both my cars were stuck in the garage and I needed at least one out I would have called around; my neighbor who is a builder said that price seemed "higher than giraffe balls". I had no problem with the technician at all, He was prompt, courteous and did a great job in the 100+ degree garage. A manager did call me and explained the situation which I now totally understand since my garage door weighs over 500 lbs and the pandemic has created a supply chain issue for a lot of their materials. That being said, he was extremely professional and wanted to make sure I was happy. I will use them for all my future garage door problems (although hopefully not for awhile........)

I called on Sunday afternoon and talked to Bryan, I believe was his name. He was very professional, helpful and kind. Bryan scheduled an appointment for Tuesday 8:00AM to 1:00PM.The service tech called a little before 8:00AM and said he was on his way. Dean arrived and introduced himself to my husband and me. First, can I just say that I loved how professional and prompt this company is? I called at 10 a.m. in a panic for a service call, and by 10:15 someone had already sent me a confirmation email and text for my same day appointment. I was quoted a time between 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. By 12:30, I recieved a call and text from Technician, Dean A. stating he was on his way.Dean came and assessed the situation and by situation I mean...I backed out of my garage and hit my door and boy, did I do some damage. (CANNOT believe I did this!) Dean gave me a quote immediately and promised to do what he could for us. Mind you, our garage door was completely down off the track. Not good! My garage door spring broke on 4/10/21 and I called A1 Garage. They scheduled a repair for 4/11. Chris was the tech and was very professional, competent and knowledgeable. Chris replaced both springs in my 2 car garage. The cost to replace 2 springs with labor was $736.00. A1 also had another option for lifetime guaranty for even more $ but I declined. I thought this was a high price to replace 2 springs but Chris assured me this was a competitive price. I did not check other prices and am hoping that is the truth.

Garage door spring broke while out of town. Called a few places and A1 was able to give me an idea of what i was looking at and had an appointment available the next day.
