A1 came to assess my garage found out it was the torsion spring that was broken. They did the assessment and left without charging me. The guy claimed he didn’t do much and it wasn’t worth charging. I have also used them before, they are professional and timely. I would recommend anyone to them for garage door repair and installation.

Charles F. with A1 Garage Door Service was very thorough and did exactly what he said he would do. He educated us about different aspects and areas of garage door service and what was needed for our garage door opener, keypad, remotes, as well as the garage door itself. He even did a little extra for us, he didn't have to do at all. We will definitely be calling A1, along with their employee, Charles F., to help us for all our remote garage door needs! Also, the lady that booked the service when I called yesterday needing help with my garage door, she was very helpful. She assisted with scheduling an appointment for a service person right away (the next day) I wish I could remember her name so I could give her kudos too! She was great! If you are ever in need of quick, attentive, and courteous service on your garage door, A1 is a no-brainer.They moved their schedule around to make time for me on a Saturday after the other local spots told me I would have to wait until Monday afternoon. My two cars were stuck in my garage so that would not do at all. Called A-1 and they were very understanding of my needs and urgency to get the job done.Charles showed up and quickly diagnosed the issue and within a short amount of time, the garage door works even better than before I called. Charles was awesome enough to give me some very helpful info to avoid the issue in the future as well.I highly recommend using A-1

Our garage door springs broke and we needed service as soon as possible! I am so glad I found A1 Garage Door Service. They had a technician, Brandon out within two hours of our initial call.. on a Sunday!! He was a great tech who explained all our options with clarity and was extremely knowledgeable. Charles was great! He was friendly and knowledgeable, did a thorough inspection of my doors, and helped me prioritize all of my options so I could make informed decisions about what all I wanted to address. After the repair was complete, he climbed up and down the ladder about 20 times making sure the door was adjusted to exactly the right specs. I really appreciated his careful and friendly approach, and I feel pretty confident that my door is ready for another 20 years of use. I really can’t say enough good things about Charles and consequently, A1!

I was very pleased with my experience with A1 Garage Door Service. I was able to schedule an appointment quickly, the technician was on time and called ahead to let me know that he was on his way. My technician, Charles, listened to what I had to say and was attentive and respectful. He explained what he believed the problem to be, and what the options for repair were. He made the repair in good time and we shared some pleasant conversation along the way.The employees were all professional and polite, the technician was polite, well spoken, clean and in identifiable company clothing. Bryce was good at explaining things but was an hour later than my scheduled appointment, took 3 hours to install our operating system. He was always willing to go above and beyond like linking our small garage to our new clicker but had to be asked to install a keypad that linked with our new system. We would not have even had a keypad that worked with our new operating system if I did not ask him about it. He was very friendly and helpful but needed some direction.

Bryce did a wonderful job. He explained everything to me .He was very polite and courteous. I was very impressed with him. Bryce explained the difference between the door openers and didn't pressure me in any way to choose one over the other. Bryce was so great! I wish I could get his expertise every time I need help with my doors. He just knew what to do and now I don't have to worry about the doors. He's very kind and professional. He got to work and just kept after it until it was finished. Everything is fixed and such a relief. Great experience working with A1. First, they were available to come out the next day. Then, I received a text message with a picture of the technician when he was on the way. Charles did a great job walking me through what was wrong - the track had come apart and the whole system was poorly installed. He offered several options for fixing it and lined out the cost for each of them. Finally, he did a checklist with me at the end where he went over every major part of the system so I understood the work that was done and what shape the other components were in.

The install was executed spectacularly and they even put my bottom seal that fell off back on. I would highly recommend them for your garage door needs. You ind people like this anymore. Brandon and Steven came out to service my garage door that decided to be contrary and not do its job. Turns out it's parts were old and worn out (15 years). They did a thorough inspection, pointed out the damage from years of wear and tear, and were transparent with what needed to be done, and how much it would cost to replace parts. Explained financing options so I could make a decision that worked for me. They took care of everything that was required in a timely manner. They were courteous and pleasant to work with. Just really nice guys. I'd definitely recommend A1 to others.

Wow! A1 is the best! I called several companies in town and A1 was the only company who did everything thing they could to get a tech out as quickly as possible! He could have just done the work that I asked for, but he showed me what I needed to have done in great detail and then let me decide. There was no pressure or up selling, just good information. Charles F. Replaced broken springs, replaced key pad, replaced cables that where badly frayed. Charles is very professional and explained everything he was doing so that both my granddaughter 10 years old and I fully understood what was going on. As a side note set up the home link car opener. Our garage door wouldn't open. A 1 was able to send someone out the next day instead of asking us to wait four days like a competitor. Our service technician was very impressive. He called to say he was on the way and asked if I needed anything like a Gatorade. He sent a text with his photo so I knew the man who arrived at my door was him. He was incredibly kind, respectful, and considerate. I couldn't open the garage door from the outside and asked him to come help from the inside. He double checked before entering my home to make sure that was okay. He fixed the door quickly and effectively and then asked permission to do an inspection which I agreed to. He was thorough, knowledgeable, and took just the right amount of time. I have had many service technicians to my home over many years and I was so impressed with him. I would not hesitate to call again if there is a new problem at a later date.

I had JaQuam come out to replace my springs and do an overall inspection of the door. Additional issues were found and needed to be addressed, he explained everything clearly and simply making it very easy to understand what the problem was and why it was important to fix. He verified multiple times before begining any work so there were no surprises when he was finished. He showed up and completed the work within the window provided. Very happy to have my garage door working properly again as well as being safe again.

Jeff was incredible! You would have thought that he was installing the new garage door on his house instead of ours...that's how much attention to detail he had throughout the installation. Not only that, but he also took the time to get us set up on the My Q app to remotely operate the new door, along with helping to get the Homelink systems in our cars synced with it. The quality of the door is great; color is perfect and the operation is unbelievably quiet.I most definitely recommend A1 Garage Door Service for both service and network replacement installations.

Constant and consistent updates both via phone and email were super helpful and the ETA was down to the minute. A1 replaced our aging garage door, opener, tracks, springs, and all the accompanying doodads. The installing tech Jeff was very prompt and had the old system removed and our new garage door installed quickly. Was impressed with the quality of work performed and he took all the time needed to explain and show the operation of the systems. He even worked the seal at the bottom to overcome the bowed concrete we have and ensured everything sealed up and worked flawlessly. I was extremely impressed with A1 Garage Service. We couldn’t get our main garage door to open or close. The technician, Charles was very knowledgeable. He explained exactly what caused the problem and how to avoid it in the future. He and his helper did a thorough safety check of both our garage openers and found some worn out cables and parts on our 22 year old one. He explained what parts were needed, how much they cost and let me make the decision as to fixing it while they were there or waiting. I really appreciated his customer service attitude and feel he gave me excellent advice, but left the decision to me.Another feature of their service I especially appreciated was a text informing me that he was on his way and how long it would take for him to arrive. The text also sent a picture of Charles and told a little bit about him. That is real customer service! A1 Garage Service is a quality company and I recommend them highly.

Great customer service and workmanship! Just not happy with the cost. Not sure why the cost goes up significantly with each spring grade, other than they are charging for the warranty. Would have liked to see more competitive pricing. $670 just seems way too high for middle of the range spring replacement.

Initially had A1 come out just to look at garage door and see about issues. Charles, showed up and hands down he was very knowledgeable. He helped explain everything fully, offered any assistance possible to make this a smooth and great experience. Never felt pressured. Fixed what needed to be done in order for our garage door to be safe a bit longer. Charles left leaving a great experience, and now has me thinking of investing in just replacing the whole two car garage door ! That how great Charles was. Would definitely recommend !

Jeff, our installer, was very helpful, informative and thoughtful young man. He did a super and quick job of removal and install. He cleaned up the place very well and spent time explaining features of door, sensor, key pad and opener. I love how quiet and how well it seals on bottom and sides. This will help protect home as seems to be our Mai point of entry.

This is one of the best investments. I can’t describe the peace of mind I have now that my garage door is functioning properly. Charles came out in 12 degree weather, did a full assessment, then took the time to re-explain his findings to my husband. He went above and beyond with the weather conditions and explaining why things needed done. Exceptional job. I have contacted 2 other companies, none compare. Excellent response time, communication and customer service from Justin on our garage door opener repair this afternoon. He was able to quickly troubleshoot our issue and correct it. He then went a step further by inspecting both our doors and openers to insure they were operating correctly and lubricated the rollers to improve the door’s function and reduce the noise.
