The tech, Cameron, was very friendly and professional. Was actually early. Scheduling was pretty quick. It is a call center type process but was very efficient. Was one of the highest quotes though. Just didn’t have time to wait a day and they could get to it. So I paid a nice premium.

We had a wonderful experience working with Chris, who serviced our garage door springs on a days notice. He was polite and personable, as was the customer service folks I spoke to. The repair was handled within an hour, which he explained throughly. We would certainly recommend A1.

One of the best purchasing experiences we have ever had! Customer service was top notch all of the way from the person who scheduled my same appointment which very last minute, from our amazing salesperson Jeff, the middle man who completed the purchase over the phone and finding a way to fit our budget to our installer Bryan who was just the nicest guy. There were so many small details such as Jeff our salesperson asking us if we needed anything on the way to our house to Bryan making sure everything worked 110% before he left which by the way there were a lot of things to program. I loved the communication thru the entire process and the pictures they sent of themselves to show you who you would be working with along with a little bio of our salesperson Jeff. The door looks absolutely beautiful and the technology in the opener is mind blowing. Keep up the amazing work as an overall company and thank you to everyone involved in our experience.

Cameron was amazing!!! After dealing with 2 different companies (first company put the door in - did not put the correct springs in, hence the issues and caused some damage), second company (fixed one issue but ended up being more. The quote for the second items seemed high). I decided to reset and try a different company. A1 Garage Door Service had excellent reviews so gave them a shot and so glad I did. New springs and end plates were needed which was expensive, but Cameron applied a coupon which helped. He walked me through everything to make sure I understood and was sure to leave his business card in case I had any other questions. I would definitely use A1 again and highly recommend.

Incredibly happy with our experience! A1 provided fantastic customer service (polite, competitive quotes, patiently explaining parts and procedures). Our tech, Jonathan, was great! A1 did a great job. I had a tune up scheduled and the technician found some issues with the original installation. Jim and his manager took care of it for no additional fee, and it was no small task. The original technician installed the door with a tortion spring versus extension springs which were more appropriate given the lack of height in our garage. Jim switched the springs, adjusted the tracks and the door works better than it ever did. Sadly, this kind of service isn't the norm these days. Many companies would have argued with me until they were blue in the face to avoid doing the work at no cost, even if it was their error. I can't recommend A1 enough. They truly stand behind their work. Thank you A1. Thank you Jim, and thanks to your manager as well.

Jeff (our technician) was incredible. So friendly, courteous and was able to diagnose and fix the multiple issues we had quickly and for a fantastic price. When a piece malfunctioned, he came right back out and got us squared away the same day. Probably the first timeIn my life that I was a little bummed when a house job was complete so quickly because I could have just hung out and listened to Jeff’s stories all day. Highly recommend A1 and especially Jeff to any one in need of garage door services.

Cameron Bennett came out this morning to replace a bad belt. he also took a look at our entire installation, looked at the springs, the condition of everything just to make sure that things were all working as expected.I am very impressed by him and his professionalism. This was a high quality repair, on time, and he finished the job in short order. Everything was wonderful.

Thank you to A-1 Garage Door Service for sending Chris out on Monday morning. Our time was scheduled from 8am to 1pm. Chris sent a a text at 7:30am and he arrived at house at 8:00am . The text had a picture of Chris. He let us know all about him and his family. Chris was very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. He did such a good job of replacing all of the old parts. The garage door works better than it ever has and it’s so quiet. I highly recommend Chris and A-1 Garage Doors.

A1 saved our weekend when we were met with a broken garage door spring on a Saturday morning. They got us setup with an appointment the same day we reached out for help, and we were so lucky to get the best house service tech we've ever had - Jeff Gardner. Jeff was an absolute dream to work with. He was very courteous and was excellent at explaining each phase of the process to fix our hung door. Jeff got us setup with all new parts in about 4.5 hours. I would highly recommend Jeff and A1 Garage for any of your garage door repair needs! Their work is top notch and their service is outstanding.

My garage door tensioner spring snapped and I called A1 based on their positive reviews. They sent Jeff G out the next morning and he was fantastic. He showed me exactly what happened and why and recommend the correct replacement parts. He was as professional and personable as you could ask for. Chris Sauder was the tech for A1 garage door. What started as remotes not working quickly turned into a broken cable just 2 days before our previously set appt with A1. The tech that came out, Jonathan, was confident, able to explain things to my husband and I in an easy to understand way, and a hard worker! All in all, we ended up needing a new motor - understandable, since ours was around 20 years old. We are quite happy with our purchase though, options we didn't even know about exist now and we feel some added security with the camera features.This all took maybe 3 hours for Jonathan to do (including a few other items that needed some TLC). I am definitely glad I chose A1 Garage Door Service to help! Thank you, and we'll see you next year for our yearly tune up =)

Chris Sauder was the tech for A1 garage door. He called to let me know he was on the way and upon arrival quickly diagnosed our garage door issues. He offered three solutions and once we agreed on a course of action, he immediately went to work. He had all the supplies on his truck, which meant he didn’t have to come back another day. Our door busted on a Sunday afternoon and the guys were out here first thing Monday morning. From the first call, until the end, very professional, courteous, empathetic and kind. Here’s the thing, I may have spent more $ with them than their competitors (I don’t know for sure), but was happy to pay whatever they asked, knowing it was fixed the right way the first time. I would hire them again and again…but they assured me not to expect them back for many many years if not ever at all. Great job!

Jeff was great from start to finish. He called me when he was finished with his last client and advised how many minutes before he would arrive. He asked if I was thirsty and with it being a hot day working out in my yard, I took him up on the offer. When Jeff arrived, he was talking with me like we’ve known each other 20 years. He was very cordial and knew all the right questions to ask. Truth be told, I was going to utilize the company that came earlier in the day as they were much cheaper. Well, I’m going to say that you usually get what you pay for and I signed right up with Jeff as I couldn’t see myself doing business anywhere else, than with A1!Ryan from the Torch Team was great to work with over the phone as well. He was able to send renderings of what the doors would look like so that we were comfortable with our decision to move forward.Tom, you have a real class act here!

KCI Jake was awesome. He came quickly to fix my door. He did a great job. Works great now. I asked him options on new doors he had great info. Great guy. Knowledge and quick service done right. Great experience.UPDATE: I also had a garage door replaced 3/29/2023. GRAT JOB!! Victor and Evan were amazing. Very friendly. Explained everything they were going to do. They made sure I tried everything before they left to make sure that it worked okay. I will definitely recommend this company. Especially these three guys.

Gavin and Garrett are great people and even better technicians. Highly professional, they knocked my 3-car garage door replacement project out in about 5 hours without issue. The installation was flawless and they even helped me reroute my wiring for my garage speakers and camera so it did not interfere with the motor. They left me a clean garage with beautiful new doors. Would recommend and will come back to A1 for any other garage door projects in the future should I move or buy another home. They also have great taste in music, 10 stars!

This is the first time I called A1 to come to find out what wrong with my garage door because it won‘t close. The technician Josh B and his partner were great and friendly. They showed up on time even offer to buy you a coffee in the morning while they are on the way to your home. They might suggest and recommend to get a spring replaced as part of maintenance if the spring was old. Mine was almost 8 years old. Long story short, they found out my garage opener had some issue after replaced the spring and tuned up and suggest options to fix. He also took the time to explain the issue and the install was quickly. Also, they cleaned up any mess, and made sure everything ran right and smooth before they left. I highly recommend this company to anyone. Thank you.

I was very impressed with the service. My appointment time was from 8-1pm. Jeff called 15 minutes before arriving at 9:45. Was very friendly and upbeat! He even offered to bring me a coffee! Once he arrived, he explained the process to me and walked me through all of the steps. He was very knowledgeable and explained every option to me in detail. He helped me make decisions based off of my needs and did not try to sell me on things I did not need. He worked fast and efficiently and double checked everything was perfect before leaving. Cameron was great! Not only did he offer a great deal working closely with Taylor, the in house sales rep, he also repaired our current door to hold us over. We took several other quotes and ultimately fixing our current issue providing safety and service is what sold is on A-1. 10/10 would recommend and use again (except you won’t need to because they have a patented lifetime warranty).

Every aspect of dealing with A1 was excellent. Initial phone call was handled in a professional and friendly manner. On site technicians Josh and Rory were knowledgeable about my 18 year old system and presented options to save it versus buying new motors. I chose to install new motors and keypads. Josh and Cory installed these efficiently and then went the extra mile to help me program our cars on a very hot July day. Recommend A1 with no reservations at all!

I’ve used A1 multiple times for garage tune up work. Last week I had a person from A1 who did NOT meet the normal standards of A1 and the work that was done was less than satisfactory. I reached out to A1 to explain the new issues that had arose in less than a week of someone coming out. A1 apologized and sent out Jeff yesterday to review and correct the job from the previous serviceman.Jeff went above and beyond the call of duty. He is a good man who has a wealth of knowledge about life with many experiences and I recommend him alone for that. Now add on top that he actually does the job correctly! In 2022 I am sure we all have had people who have taken advantage of us and left us far from happy with our services. So it was refreshing to have someone like Jeff who treated his job with such respect and high regard.Jeff took the time to explain why things were not working correctly with my door and explained what to expect as he made repairs. I will admit, I think he may have done a couple extra items for me complimentary to make up for my not so good experience previously. Not expected, but very much appreciated.Overall…Jeff is the reason I am actually doing a review because I normally do not do them. Also I want A1 to know they have a winner in Jeff and need more like him.

Due to a broken spring, we were unable to open or close our garage door. We called other businesses, but no one was available to come out for another week. A1 was able to get someone out within 2 hours! Josh and the other tech did an outstanding job on the repair explaining what they were doing at every step. They did an inspection on other parts to ensure everything was operating as it should. Due to the excellent service and repair work that was done, we are adding A1 to our list of companies we can count on for home repairs (garage doors). Thank you, A1!!

Will did an amazing job. He took the time to analyze the issue and provide a very detailed description of options and different pricing. He was very knowledgeable and did excellent work. The pricing was a little higher than I expected, but with a call fee of only $25 I definitely had the option to shop around. Very friendly and helpful staff answering calls also.

I called out A1 to help with a shop door that wasn’t closing. They sent out Mitch I think his name was. He was kind of rude and seemed upset that I couldn’t spoon feed him the reason the door wasn’t operating. I’m not a garage door tech so how would I know? He convinced me the springs needed to be replaced so I did. A week later the door wouldn’t close again. I called A1 again to come out and finally fix my door and this time they sent out Will. Will was very nice and eager to find out exactly what was wrong. He replaced the rollers, adjusted the spring tension and adjusted the tracks to the correct position. Will did a fantastic job and the door is now working flawlessly. Will is the ONLY reason I will continue to use A1 in the future and why this rating isn’t 1 star.

Devin and Dustin were fantastic. Came out and replaced the springs, cables, bearings, etc on a double garage door. Spring just popped last night while we were all in the house (door not even in use). A1 was out there the next day, had it all replaced in about an hour, and the door actually does seem to operate smoother than I can recall. Laid out all the options, no pressure to go with the full replacement and lifetime springs, but we felt that was best for us, and we’re very happy with the service we received. Would definitely recommend Devin, Dustin, and A1.

I liked that he gave me the price on everything, needed a new keypad and door opener's,, price I thought was very reasonable, he didn't try to sale me anything else. December 2021…Had a problem with one of my garage door openers that was previously installed. (See Previous Review Below) With that, one of the openers malfunctioned and A1 repaired it in record time. Same opener malfunctioned again. However…this time, not only, did I continue to receive quick service but, A1 completely replaced the opener with an brand new updated opener. All with, “No questions asked”. Also, they sent down an install team from Wichita to make sure my problems where expediently resolved. I can’t say enough about the entire team at A1. From the office operations all the way through to the installers. This truly is a 5-Star company. I’m a customer for life…Thank you A1 for remembering the ancient art of Customer Service!August 2021…Had 2 garage door openers installed today. Both of which are the best openers on the market. With that said…The technicians, Cory and his crew were spectacular. A field manager even showed up just to thank me for choosing A1. These guys walked me through the entire install process. Explaining to me what needed to be done, what my options were, and what would be the best option to execute the best result. After just a few hours they were finishing up. Upon completion Cory walk me through the entire process of setting up the garage doors with my own personal codes and the openers.A1 Garage Door Services are of the highest in the industry. Their pricing is what I expected to pay. A1 was actually the second call I made when my garage door failed. I chose them because the first place just gave a price and the phone call felt rushed and short. A1 let me know they had options depending on my budget, quality, and warranty I could choose from.Corey came out to evaluate the damage and made recommendations based on what I was looking for, not selling more than I needed. Corey will not only explain what you need and why, he will also show you and let you make a no pressure decision.The experience I had with this company from the first call to the final bill was absolutely phenomenal! Very Happy with there customer service. My technician Corey was amazing. He spotted my cable was coming apart. Was able to get new cables and springs same day. Corey was very upfront and friendly. Was on time. Very satisfied with their work my garage door is running and working properly thanks to A1 garage door. I would recommend them for sure.

Corey was the technician that arrived, and I'm glad he did. He was personable, professional, and knew his business. He came to install an opener, but then I had him service all 3 doors, and then convert my doors from side spring to torsion springs. Anytime I asked about a job, he gave me options and told me the pros and cons of of each. I spent a little more than intended, but I consider it money well spent. I've only lived in OP for 2 years, but I can definitely say I now have a permanent garage service company. The poor guy worked right through his lunch time. 🙂

Carson did a tremendous job with repairing our garage door opener. He was fast, efficient, and very polite. He had the door fixed in no time for very little cost. I would definitely use A1 again and recommend them to anyone needing a garage door repaired.

Carsen came out for an install for a Genie opener and did a great job. Was very transparent with info and let me know how to reprogram the unit due to a spacing issue with the set up. (Air duct was 1/10" too low - causing the door not to open all the way) He did an amazing job! Definitely would recommend A1 to anyone. I'd rather know who is coming to work on my house than a Home depot 3rd party contractor.

The technician that came out and helped my husband and myself was Joe Hedlund. He was very helpful and informative. He took his time and explained the process and how long the wait would be. I am very happy with my new garage opener!!! Thank you A1; I was pleasantly surprised with your reasonable competitive prices as well. Joe was very pleasant and he demonstrated great customer service skills. Not only was he patient while answering my questions, he took the time to show me how to add a helpful app, he programmed an extra remote for my husband's vehicle and updated our current key pad as a courtesy. Joe was a knowledgeable, technically competent, punctual and personable service technician. He diagnosed the problems and gave several options to solve them. He gave several technical owner sustainment maintenance tips to keep the doors in good operating order once he completed his work. I would highly recommend him and A1 Garage Door Service to my friends, if they need garage door repairs or maintenance. I also felt comfortable with A1’s lifetime warranty because I felt they would still be around in the long run. Very professional. My technician, Joe H, was great. Friendly, professional and didn't pressure me on any extras. One note ... whoever takes the bookings in the office needs to be upfront about the trip charge in addition to what I was paying for the tune-up. It was not mentioned to me and it is not listed on the coupon. I understand why it is there and I don't mind paying, however, A1 should be up front about it.

Had 2 garage door openers installed today. Both of which are the best openers on the market. With that said…The technicians, Cory and his crew were spectacular. A field manager even showed up just to thank me for choosing A1. These guys walked me through the entire install process. Explaining to me what needed to be done, what my options were, and what would be the best option to execute the best result. After just a few hours they were finishing up. Upon completion Cory walk me through the entire process of setting up the garage doors with my own personal codes and the openers.A1 Garage Door Services are of the highest in the industry. Their pricing is what I expected to pay. However, with the service you would of thought I paid more!A1 Is a 5 star company and if you want this kind of service I would implore you to chose the best in the buisness…A1 has earned my buisness and I’m a customer for life. One of the cables came off on my garage door and A1 was the first company that popped up on my Google search. I booked an appointment right on Google and was very pleased from the get go. I received numerous messages about the appointment after it was confirmed. The technician called when they said he would, he arrived when he said he would and was the utmost professional the entire time he was here. He explained everything to me in terms I could understand and did his best to get me the best deal he could based on the issue. He was here less than two hours and my garage door opens and closes smoother than it has the entire 15 years I have been here. Highly recommend "KC Joe" and A1 Garage Door Service to anyone. I want to give a huge thank you to Corey and the A1 Garage Door customer service team. The supporting strut on our garage door separated from the wall, leaving the door stuck part way open. This occurred approximately 4:00pm in the afternoon. I called A1; after checking with a dispatcher, the support team indicated that Corey was just finishing a job in the area, and would call when on his way. He called just a few minutes later, and was at the house by 4:30! He was able to resolve the problem, took time to walk us through why it occurred, replaced worn parts, and made some recommendations about future maintenance. After discussing options, we decided to replace our nearly end-of-life springs, which he had in his van. The work was done swiftly, carefully, cleanly, and professionally. Corey was extremely pleasant, has a great customer service attitude, and knows his stuff. We were thoroughly satisfied, blown away by the super response time (job complete by 5:30), and offer the highest recommendation for Corey and A1. Thanks!

These guys did a fantastic job getting me a quote and securing the inventory in their warehouse to ensure a my install would go smooth and be on time... all while being on site and doing it FREE of charge. The actual install of the garage doors was just as great as the quote. The guys that came on-site were professional and went above and beyond helping clear space for them to work despite that being my responsibility. The work they did went quick and was very high quality. 100% would recommend and use again. Only thing left to add is that I heard Joe H’s (999 - a) kids thinks he smells weird, but that’s ok cause I think Joe smells fine and kids think all old men smell weird. I made that last part up but I really appreciate you for taking a joke Joe H. Great job all around!

Navy veteran replaced both our garage openers. Can't remember when I had better service. Was friendly and honest. No "later surprises". Less expensive diagnostic fee than others like Overhead.New openers are pretty cool. The new wall mounts show time and temp. Can control from app on phone.Only gave 4 stars instead of 5 because each opener only comes with one clicker so you have to pay for another one if you need it and the security key pad is a seperate cost as well.Highly recommend A1.

Very respectful and knowledgeable about the products and repairs that where needed. Would highly recommend using if needing your doors serviced or upgraded. Extremely professional service cleaned up after themselves as they did the installation and explained the different levels to ensure that we understood the difference between products before installing anything. Let me know that there was damage on some of the existing parts and discussed before replacing, ensuring the everything was top notch before the tech left. Tech walked me through all the steps new features and info before leaving.Had both door springs replaced and door openers. Will use again 100% and will recommend to anyone who asks in the future.

Corey Heath made this a very pleasurable experience, he was thorough and gave me lots of options. The install for one door took only about an hour and a half; and this is while training a new employee. Overall very impressed, very professional and efficient. Payment was easy all done with a tablet he had; also all need materials were on site in his truck. Would highly recommend if you have any issues with your garage door system!
