My Garage Door broke at 8pm last night. Called A1 Garage and to my surprise got a phone technician! Super easy to get my appointment time set up for the following day. John A was our technician, and he did an awesome job repairing/upgrading the damaged part which was a broken spring and it was also reasonably priced. John also provided a lot of great insight on how to best maintain the garage door and I also took out there worry free club for future maintenance and repairs. Super easy to contact and get a time set up, even though it was right after a hurricane. John A was our technician, and he did an awesome job repairing/ upgrading the damaged part. Oh my goodness! After a fantastic experience several years ago & a positive review, we’re back for needed work. Yesterday is a day to forget. Snafus prevented the accomplishment of necessary. This company made it up to us by sending JJ an accomplished gentleman & incredible worker & sales person. He fixed easily our problem on our main garage door & proceeded to smaller door to service & found the chain missing teeth, etc. He quickly recommended what we needed, had the parts at hand in huge service truck, and proceeded to fix it to perfection. I don’t know how this company found such a working, likable & competent individual, but they did.and we are the benefactors. Thank you A1!

I was stressed because my garage wouldn’t close and with the storm approaching I didn’t know what to do. I was blessed to find A1 garage door service on google. I called and they were able to accommodate the emergency service that my garage door needed. John Ayers came out and fixed my garage door. He answered all questions and was very patient. Scott called and let me know when he would be arriving. Even asked if he could pick up a soda or water on the way. He was pleasant, easy to talk to, knowledgeable and thorough.Dylan was also very helpful, explained my options in lay terms I could easily understand and was patient with the paperwork when my phone died. So I think I know what I need to do going forward and Zach was extremely helpful by laying out suggestions and telling me what's technically or mechanically possible or electronically possible. So that way he was great. I really appreciate everything he's able to do. He got up on the ladder, looked at our little genie garage door opener, explained to me how it works all that kind of stuff, but that the connected remote keypad was not going to work with the motor that that I have. Even though it was a genie keypad that's on the outside of the house. So I need to think about what we wanna do going forward, but he was great and if I can get him back again, that would be awesome when we decided to move forward on whatever we're going to end up doing.

I had totally different expectations on the costs of a garage motor and tune-up. I think A1 is too expensive. I should have done better research. But Trey was knowledgeable of his products, pleasant, professional and helped me understand what the experience would be in the end to make sure I would be satisfied with his solution and service. He took the extra effort to make sure all my remotes were integrated and working properly. I appreciated that.

An absolutely wonderful experience from beginning to end. The sales staff were knowledgeable and fair, the office staff both competent and friendly, and the install tech was top notch in all respects! The door was purchased and ready for delivery but hurricane damage that was discovered afterwards had to be taken care of prior to installation. They were very gracious and understanding while we walked through the repair process and did not charge us any storage fees and even helped out staging the old door in place while the repairs were done. 5 stars all the way! I would give them a 6th for their customer service if the option was available!

The company was great to work with, the members were awesome as well. If it wasn’t for Rocky we wouldn’t have replaced the garage door at the moment. He helped us with all the questions we had and got us a great deal. The installation process was great as well with Manuel, he even helped with moving a wire that was going to be visible to make it look more seamless.

Jose was polite and professional. He completed his inspection and suggested necessary maintenance to make sure our garage door was operating efficiently. He replaced the rollers and the seal on the bottom of the door. The door opens and closes SO quietly now. Very responsive and great communication when it comes to the technician coming to your home. Mike was amazing! He explained the inspection, what was good and what was not so good, and gave us a resolve to our issue as well as some suggestions for a better lifespan of our garage door. Brian from A1 came to take a look at our garage motor. The remotes didn’t work despite new batteries, and unfortunately the circuit board was on its last legs(it was 11y old so it’s understandable). The time frame to come was 1-6 and Brian called at 1:30, stating he would be there in 30 mins, and did just that!He reviewed our options for a new motor, and even told us he would get it set up same day! He even said it would take up to two hours and it was barely an hour.Our new motor is much quieter, it the LED light is bright and we can just turn the light on without using the garage itself.He gave us his number and told us to call if we had any issue! Thankfully he lives just up the street from us (which is how we found the company in the first place).Thanks Brian & thanks A1!

We had a spring break suddenly and called for help Friday before Christmas. Very quickly able to get a reservation for the next day. Mark showed up, quickly assessed the issue and also evaluated a lot of other things to make sure the door was working well and safe. They did a great job! Our garage springs broke at night and we called A1 when it happened. They answered and offered to come the next day but we were not able to meet them. They were able to meet us when we were available the day after and our garage was fixed within an hour. Nick was absolutely amazing. He went over our garage door with us and it works better now than it ever has. The cost was very reasonable and I was so happy with the outcome! It was a very easy and painless process. Jose and the A1 folks were great! We had a broken torsion spring and they came out right away to help us get our door opening again. They beat all the other prices in the area AND got us additional promotion and military discounts. Jose was super knowledgeable and even showed us how the builder originally put springs that were underrated for our door. We were having issue with our garage door opener over the weekend, and I placed a call to A1 on Saturday afternoon and made an appointment for Sunday between the hours 8 AM and 1 PM. There service technician was at our door at 8 AM sharp. Jeremy Moore (service tech) was professional and very knowledgeable, not only their brand but all brands, after the trouble shooting of our opener it was determined that the only real option, we had was to replace the opener with new equipment. Garage door snapped and broke at 8:30am. After quick google search found this company, called them and Lloyd was here by 10:15am. My garage door was fixed and parts replaced by 11:46 am. We discovered our garage door spring had broken at about 1 pm on a Sat and after calling a few places, we called A1. We were able to book an appointment for the same day when no one else was available and within just a few hours, Jordan arrived by 5pm. Jordan did an excellent job! He was very professional and thorough in explaining our spring options and helped determine what was appropriate for our situation. Then Jordan went to work quickly and was able to maneuver around our hanging shelf racks without any issue. After the install, he lubricated all of the bearings and joints, pointing them out along the way so that we could continue self maintenance if we chose. Jordan was very friendly and knowledgeable. After additional inspection of our garage door and system, he found and suggested some additional areas for improvement, particularly with the gaps in the bottom corners of our garage door where the seal had been cut short on both ends, creating an exposure to weather elements and unwanted critters. We already have a followup appointment scheduled with him to replace and fix this. Overall, A1 and Jordan did a fantastic job, saving us from being inconvenienced by our broken garage door for the entire holiday weekend! Thank you!!

We have Louie E come out to our house to perform some maintenance on our garage door. While he was here, he pointed out a few things that could be replaced due to age and while he was talking to us, he never put any pressure on us to replace those items (which was refreshing). I had an issue arise with my garage doors and i called Sunday afternoon, i don't remember the name of who picked up the phone but they were very helpful and found a way to get the service i needed the next day at a time i was home. Bryan came over to fix some issues with my springs in both my doors, in the process he spotted a lot of other issues present in my door we weren't aware of. He explained everything in detail and was very patient. Showed us what items had which issues and what the correct course of action was. At no point did i feel like he was trying to sell us anything we didn't need. We called A1 Garage Door Service Orlando after our garage door motor made a horrible grinding sound and ceased to function. Lloyd came out this afternoon. He was very good at explaining the problem and showed us the plastic part of the 21-year old motor that had been thoroughly chewed up. Within about an hour, Lloyd had installed a new, beautifully quiet motor that came with LED lights and two new remotes, and he replaced the control box on the wall. He pointed out that we will also need to replace the wheels and springs before long. However, since those are not an emergency, we explained that we didn't want to replace them yet because we are in the midst of some other expensive house projects, so he lubricated them for us to help extend their life.It is obvious that Lloyd thoroughly knows his business, and he is very cheerful and helpful. Nothing but the most positive experience! My 78 yr old mother called A1 to get service on her big garage door because it would not go up. The tech Lloyd came out the very next day and replaced the springs on her door. I was so impressed with the way my mother absolutely raved about him that I had to write. Not only was he so professional but he was so compassionate to her needs and even went out of his way to call and see if there were any discounts that could be used to help my mother. She said her door has never been so quiet. What an asset, THANK YOU MR LLOYD!!!

Updated after repairs, read below.After listening to my garage door squeak for a few weeks I decided to have it looked into. The day of my appointment Lloyd, the technician, called me when he was 30 minutes away. Upon arrival he introduced himself and briefly gave me his background which I appreciate because it was easy to tell he was a seasoned technician. He went over the inspection with me and it turns out our framing is horrible. Our wood framing is split all up and down, and missing or lacking areas of reinforcement. It is very clear this was a DIY job done prior to us buying the home several years ago, it never would've passed an inspection had a permit been pulled. We'll be seeing Lloyd in a few weeks when he comes out to reframe, reseal, reinforce and de-squeak the door. I'll update the review soon after. For now I am extremely happy with the service A1 provided, from calling to schedule the appointment to Lloyds clear explanation of what needs to be done.Update: Lloyd came out to do all of the repairs just as he explained. He was here for several hours and then had to come back to finish the exterior trim the next day. It looks great, and sounds great (silent). It was an overall excellent experience working with A1! I highly recommend them for your maintenance and repairs.

Lloyd came and let us know what was wrong with our garage door. He explained everything thoroughly and gave us options. He was very nice and patient and he even fixed the bracket and garage remote. He let us know what we would have to eventually replace in the long run, which was extremely helpful. Would highly recommend him and A1 Garage Door Service

I called A1 after dealing with a few other places and it was just a different experience. The person I dealt with was super personable and he helped walk me through everything. They didn't try to gouge me and were honest about what my garage needed. The new opener is SO responsive and no longer sounds like a horror movie when opening haha. The lifetime warranty is a pretty awesome bonus.

A1 was awesome to work with. Llyod specifically was helpful from start to finish. We got a new garage door that is basically silent and the Liftmaster opener works from my phone. I could even set up routines on my phone to have it open automagically when I get close to the house. The lifetime warranty on everything is nice peace of mind too.
