Jeremy came early and accessed the overall mechanics of the door. I knew the springs, rollers and other parts were original from 92 and might need replaced aside from the opener itself. We agreed on the price and he did a great with the installation. I couldn’t give 5 stars because I figured anything I’d need was included in the price originally quoted, but by the end the price doubled as those other components were extra above and beyond the price of the opener which he didn’t emphasize from the beginning. Great, nice guy, top of the line opener with camera, but I wasn’t intending to spend that much and would have DYI’d the opener and just had him do the springs, rollers and cables given the choice. It’s a belt drive and it’s nice and quiet.

Casey Maloney was on time, professional, relaxed while showing me all of that needed to be done in detail. Then he gave me the cost of the project. During the next 2+ hours he worked on our garage door, he didn’t take breaks and did a professional job. We are happy with his work and attitude. I had the best technician today.Jeremy came in and explain the whole problem to me and showed me everything wrong with my garage door. He took care of everything in a very professional manner. Explained everything to me and I was quite impressed. He’s a great tech. Took care of programming both cars also. Very smart and professional. If I ever buy a new door I’m calling him. The door makes no sound. I bought a new motor and everything but the door.

We had A1 install a new garage door opener we provided. Service tech Matt B. arrived on time and ready to go. He gave us an estimate for the service before starting. After we agreed he performed a complete inspection and pointed out future issues without trying to upsell or bait and switch. He was very professional and thorough. He went out of his way to ensure the job was done right. We will use A1 again for future work and highly recommend this business.

Great service all the way around. Called and got a very friendly and helpful person on the phone to help me, I believe her name was Bethany. She was able to get me on the schedule for today. By the time I called to the time Tony arrived it was about an 1.5 hours. Tony was great. He made the repair very quickly and offered his advice as what to do in the future. Both springs on my garage door broke and he was able to get them both replaced and garage back to operating perfectly within 1.5 hours. Great company all around!

July 17, 2023 - had our annual worry free service today. Although I have not had a single issue since last year's service (e.g., no failure to close even when the weather changes from hot to cold and/or cold to hot) ... I haven't had to do a thing! Our technician (Tyler) was here a full 90 minutes going through a 151 point inspection and 29 point safety check. This is one of a very few maintenance plans I have purchased (less than one handful) and I believe I am receiving tremendous value for my money.----------------------------July 15, 2023 - another amazing experience with our annual “Worry Free” time-up and maintenance. Tyler arrived on time (8am sharp, first appointment of day). Tyler committed a full 2 hours despite being fully booked (5 appointments between 8am and 1pm). Tyler resolved a loud rubbing noise that had been annoying us for many months; identified & repaired a wiring issue with our sensors,; identified & repaired the torsion spring wire (which was rubbing against door - unknown to us); adjusted the travel; verified the doors were balanced; and lubricated everything (without any overspray on door glass, walls & floor).Prior to Tyler’s arrival, I was “on the fence” whether we would continue/renew our service contract. I’m please to say that “I WILL BE CONTINUING THE SERVICE CONTRACT” Tremendous value delivered by a highly skilled, polite professional. Thank you Tyler R.———————————————July 15, 2022 - Amazing customer experience, highly skilled technician and top quality parts.-----After 20 years in the same Henderson home, A1 Garage Door Service is now my ‘go to’ service provider on any / all garage door related needs.We had an urgent need to replace both a Tension Spring (on one of our doors) and all our hinges / track wires (on both doors) due to an unrelated accident that caused one of the doors to literally “derail” and become severely unbalanced. This was our first time with A1 Garage Door Service and their thoroughness/attention we were unsurpassed versus the 3+ other contractors we have used in the past. George Shandrow was our Service Technician and he could not have been better trained, focused and conscientious.George is a Veteran (US Army) so I was thrilled about this as well. I never once felt like I was being “sold or cross-sold” unnecessary parts/labor. George performed many “no-charge tests” on our door parts and door operation that many other providers either fail to do (completely) or that perform only a quick cursory level. I was pleased that George arrived promptly at 8am (as promised) and did not leave the site until every part and service need was addressed. Folks, this was roughly 11 straight hours (departed at 6:40pm on a Friday night), and never left the job site / took a break in 106-degree heat!!I am rarely a fan of service and extended warranty plans; however, what I experienced was nothing short amazing service by a highly skilled trade-person and top-quality parts. I purchased the plan for $8.95 per month and immediately received a 15% discount on today’s visit – i.e., this discount paid for the next year of routine service needs. The plan entitles me to free annual inspections and tuning (e.g., travel, balancing, lubrication, etc.), provides discounts on future parts/service of 15% discounts (eliminating any price differential with “cheaper & lower quality” contractors), extended the warranties on parts, and more.So, just like George, A1 Garage Doors and the Service Plan are all highly recommended!

Our tech Jeremy was fantastic! Up front, honest and to the point but with a very understanding cushion. Meaning, he knows everyone is feeling a financial crush right now, but being a homeowner can sometimes be a financial burden. He walked us through A to Z with details and technical bits, as well as finance options. The quality of the work and efficiency are second to none. It seemed like he had set aside the entire day just for our needs. No rush. Friendly and understanding...many other companies will call ahead of their service call, but they're probably not going to ask if you need anything from 7-11 on the way...Jeremy did. We had a great experience with this company! We called to see when we could expect to have a tech come out and check our garage at noon. They let us know by 6pm same day we would have someone. At 3:50pm Kyle was here. Then he had diagnosed the issue, explained our options, repaired/ replaced the motor, explained the membership, received payment and cleaned up after the job was completed by 5:20pm. Our garage door spring snapped on a Sunday morning with 1 car stuck in the garage. I was thinking there is no way we will be able to get anyone out. To my surprise I went on their app, it was super user friendly, and had a tech out Monday morning. The tech was SUPER nice (Jason) and replaced the spring, and then told us about some other parts that were going to continue to make our door not operate smooth. When I called them to make an appointment for them to come repair my garage door opener the staff member on the phone was very courteous and helpful and seemed genuinely interested in getting this resolved quickly. The customer service operator was pleasant to talk with and concerned about getting our equipment in working condition as fast as possible. I made an appointment online with A1 Garage Door. I received both text and email confirmations. When it came time for me appointment, I received text message that my tech was on his way, along with a picture and a short biography.Myles arrived and inspected my garage door and opener. Everything was original to the house, which is about 30 years old. We knew we were due for a new opener and a new door and rail system. Myles gave us a few options for openers, as well as went over the different types of doors and price levels. We never felt pressured to buy a particular door.Once we decided on the door panels, Myles called to confirm install and availability for same-day install. Once confirmed, Myles replaced our opener.After install, Myles helped set up the app and made sure we knew how to use the app and exterior keypad.Later, Kai arrived to do door panel install. I again received a text letting me know he was on the way, a picture, and short bio.Kai explained the work and made sure I didn’t have any questions. When he had finished, he made sure everything worked and if I had any questions.Both Myles and Kai did a great job, worked efficiently and were extremely nice and professional.I was very happy with A1 Garage Door and decided to also get their annual maintenance plan. I asked if they had a maintenance plan; this was again a no pressure purchase and look forward to not having to worry about maintaining our new door and opener!

Chris picked me up from Caliber Auto Body and I was able to return the rental there so it all worked out perfectly. Eve kept me in the loop as to what was happening with my car , nearly daily. A1garage Tech Chase did aGreat PM job on our 2 garage doors. He was very thorough and answered all my questions. He explained potential issues and shared pictures. He tighten all screws and mainspring for our double door, while changing out the Single door wheels to newer nylon ones that roll better and are much quieter. He gave me some estimates for possible future work but did not hard sell me, which I appreciated. I felt he was very honest, and really took pride in his service! I will use them again and you should too‼️

Chase was the service technician that came. He texted to give me a heads up on arrival time, most companies do this now but was great he actually showed up on time. A1 GarageBy far the best customer Service I have received in ages!I reached out for same day service. The person that booked the appointment did everything to see if I could be fit in same day. Unfortunately there weren’t any openings in the schedule, but the call was very courteous and the lady was very patient with me, even with my sense of urgency. I was scheduled 1st thing the next morning. The person rendering the service called about 25 minutes prior to my appointment, and was there at the top of my appointment time window. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. I was also informed of services available to maintain my garage door and the proper weight the door should be. Every interaction with this business was pleasant, and I will recommend them to my friends and family for all garage service needs.

Christopher R is 10/10 a friendly and likable tech. He was on time to give us our initial quote, and was the one to return to work on our garage door. He was knowledgeable and gave my husband and I information on general maintenance. Very informative, he knows his stuff. He thoroughly explained what the products he was installing were, how they worked, and why he was doing what he was doing, along with pointing out some issues our garage door had. He also walked us through how to reset our clickers. We liked working with him so much we actually wanted him in particular to service another garage door at another property, and while he was there he was just as thorough as he was the first time around. We even got the quote and work done the same day. Chris is a hardworking and focused tech, we appreciate the time and effort he puts into his job, all while being friendly, courteous, and flexible (we didn't have the cleanest garage for the second visit). I highly recommend hiring A1 if all the techs are like Chris.

Scheduled a tune up for our garage door as it was getting noise, shaking, and slamming shut. Thad pointed out the issue wasn’t a tune up, but the great need for the main spring replacement, along with supporting hardware. He very clearly showed me exactly the issues, including how heavy and difficult it was to open the door manually when disconnecting it from the rail. He offered us a great deal on everything needed ($1175). He even lubricated our 3rd car separate garage door. He had everything needed on his truck, and did the entire job inside of an hour. What a difference! No noise, smooth operation, can lift door with 2 fingers when disconnected (couldn’t do that before). No wobbling anymore. And 50,000 open/close 5yr warranty. Very happy with the results. Truly feel it was needed, and glad we did it. Don’t feel like we were “upsold”. Thad was very friendly, knowledgeable, clean, and efficient. Great Guy! Thank you

Amazing service. Our garage door operator motor conked out. We called the night before and scheduled a morning appointment for the next day.Brandon showed up with different options for replacement of the motor unit.Brandon was one of the nicest respectful service people we’ve encountered. Jason was awesome! Our garage door spring broke on Saturday night. We couldn’t get one of our vehicles out as a result. I called A1 Sunday morning and they had someone at our house before noon. Yesterday morning we woke up to a garage door that wouldn’t open. I will say for anyone curious about pricing — I needed a tract replacement and the cabling restrung which was around $500 (I could not wait so there was a late after hours fee of $199). Overall, the experience was great and smooth. Pricing I think is normal for what I’ve researched. Big thank you for them repairing it so quickly!

I appreciated the time he took to educate me on maintenance, and for showing me the worn / broken parts that required replacing. I feel confident that both garage doors are in proper working order. My neighbor’s sister in AZ suggested A-1, when she learned of my issues. Prior to arrival, I was sent a photo of the technician assigned to my call, and I appreciated their concern for safety. I am in the process of selling my house and needed to have a repair made to the garage door based on the inspection report. I was able to get a technician out the same day. Casey was fantastic! He did a thorough inspection and showed me everything that he recommended for repairs. He was great about his explanations for every item on the inspection, and every piece and part that he recommended for replacement. I called on a Sunday morning because the spring broke on my garage door leaving 2 cars stuck inside. Kyle, our serviceman, was at our house within the hour. We found him to be personable and knowledgeable and explained to us each item that needed replacing. There was full transparency on the parts and pricing. While we replaced more than just the springs, no work had been done to our garages door since 2015, prior to us owning the home. Some of the parts dated back to 1097. We were super happy with how quickly the repair/upgrades took. We would certainly call again and I will recommend to my real estate clients!

Our 1978 home was a museum piece until we bought it. Previous owners liked the feel. Smh. That included the Martin garage door components as Christopher with A1 showed me throughout the process. Old parts and bearings on their last leg. Knowing this, I let him replace parts as he continued to find worn out ones. I did my research on A1 and felt confident they would get the job done with no issues. I was never sold materials the door didn’t need and he gave me options on the new springs which I appreciated. When I called A1 I was looking for someone to help me install my garage SCREEN door that i already purchased. The gentleman I spoke to said we can have a technician out today. But also said we offer financing just ask the technician about it. Puzzled? Financing? I already purchased the screen. What's there to finance?Within the hour Christian arrived.When Christian showed up he had never heard of or seen the screen. When I called I explained to the gentleman i spoke to about the screen he acted like his techniciancould help install it no problem. Christian was not able to. He was very friendly super cool. He tried to call other people to see if they had ever heard of my screen and or knew how to install it. No luck of course. Christian left because he was not able to help.My neighbors and I were able to install the screen that day. While doing so we accidentally knocked the garage door cable off the track. I called A1 back to set up an appointment to have Christian come back. I specifically requested Christian because of how nice cool and honest he was the day before. And he also wanted to see the screen when it was done. Very Very nice guy.They were able to schedule an appointment for the next day. Again the gentleman on the phone mentioned "financing".The next day Christian shows up. I was extremely pleased they sent him back. Most places say they will try and then send someone else.Christian was able to get my door fixed and it works like new again.The only reason I'm giving 5 stars is solely based on what an amazing guy Christian is. Conversation while he worked was great. (I'm a chatty kathy) The experience with him well worth 5 stars.Had he not been humble I would have rated A1 lower on the initial phone call. I'm still stuck on we offer financing. Again I had already purchased what I needed. You should not be suggesting financing when someone isn't trying to buy something. Both calls I felt like the gentleman on the phone had he came out would have tried to sell me whatever he could. If I needed it or not. To me not good business.Again Christians professionalism and personality gained A1 a 5 star review.

Nothing worse than starting your day with a broken garage, but A1 was able to help the same day. Chase did a great job and was able to get the whole job done in one visit, and on a holiday weekend. Chris from A1 Garage Door Service was AWESOME!! He quickly determined what the problem was with the bottom piece of my garage door that caused it to disconnect & fall off the main 2-stall door. He replaced the part, and installed it in such a way that it is much more secure/stable than the previous part ever was! A1 saved the day!... Rescued my garage door when nobody else could/would... in no time flat.Had an issue with another company, just the day before, where they made me wait their entire day they were open and nobody ever showed.A1 was recommended by a friend and they live up to their name! I was expecting to upgrade two existing garage doors, one a two car door connected to a garage door opener and the other a single garage door, a stand alone manually operated door. Both were upgrades (insulated with windows). I expected the installer to show up at earliest time (approximately 8 AM considering the job would take about 6 hours). I also needed springs better suited for my doors (darn builders were cheap)! Regardless, I was all in for what I considered a fair price and I was given a 6 hour window early in the morning for an install. I got a nice text message and email saying the technician was on the way. He (only one installer) showed up within the window, and was very courteous. The install took about 6 hours, but without incident. I kick myself for not asking how he was doing throughout the install, but I can say he was extremely professional. In the end, I had a great install, everything worked as intended, scrapped material was removed, and my y new garage doors exceeded my expectations. Kudos!

Casey was a delightful person and a good listener. I explained to him in detail the ongoing problem I’ve been having entering the garage using the button in my vehicle. Came out on Memorial Day to fix my garage door spring. They were scheduled to come at 2pm but called at 11am and said they were near by and could come early if I was available. Shawn, did an excellent job on replacing the springs on my garage door. He also replaced the rubber padding at the bottom edge of the door which was shredded. He lubricated all the joints and ensured the door was working properly before leaving. He also had another technician join him which helped to get the job done quickly and thoroughly. The technician assigned to repair my garage door was phenomenal. Honestly, he has been thee most fantastic customer service that I have experienced in a long, long, long time... Which is very sad to say. 😥Once my technician assessed what the issue with my garage door was, not only did he take the time to explain to me everything going on and all that with the garage, but he even took me around after my garage was done to show me WHAT he did to fix any and all issues and HOW he fixed said issues... Great service! Roy came to my home to evaluate my three garage doors. He gave me several options of what to do with my aging doors that I was reluctant to replace. He made some needed repairs and did some much needed maintenance on the doors, and installed a new motor on one of the doors. All three doors now work beautifully. They function well and sound smooth. They came the same day I called , at the time they said they would be there. The technician, Zeke, was very quick and professional. He explained everything he did , and explained things that we should do to make our opener work better. The woman who set the appointment was very friendly and professional, she made our appointment for today and was very helpful. Their rates are very reasonable and the work was done very quickly. After 3 years of operating with broken springs, I finally had my garage door serviced. I received 2 quotes from local service providers and decided to go with A1 Garage Door Services.Had my springs, tension rod, rollers replaced and installed as well as added a lock for around $2k with the lifetime warranty. Came out on Memorial Day to fix my garage door spring. They were scheduled to come at 2pm but called at 11am and said they were near by and could come early if I was available. They came and fixed the garage door spring. Replaced it with their spring that has a lifetime guarantee. I would highly recommend A1 to anyone who needs garage repairs done!I was blown away and very happy to find that he had the new spring with him and could install it right then and there. He didn’t have to go get the part and come back on a different day to install it. Everything that had to be done in order to repair my garage door was able to be finished the same day within a few hours.

Anthony was great! He showed me the various problems l was having and provided solutions to the problems. I was impressed with the coil springs A1 uses compared to Precision Door. A couple of months ago, I made an appointment with Precision Door to perform a tune-up and let me know what needs to be done to get my garage door operating the way it used too. I couldn't believe, I was charged $100 for tightening a screw. That fix lasted a week before I had the same problem. I don't recommend Precision Door but instead ask for Anthony at A1. Anthony took his time despite the hot and humid temperature. He provides his suggestions and didn't over sell. He provided the cost from the most expensive items to the basic. I truly feel he was honest and did excellent work. I highly recommend A1 and ask for Anthony.

I cannot say enough great things about A1. My garage door broke late last night. After calling a different service and getting a strange voicemail, my dad suggested I call A1. A live person answered my call and set me up for the next day. I loved how responsive they were with text messages and emails, including the technician’s picture and tracking information. Robert came and was WONDERFUL. His van was loaded with everything he needed and he fixed it right then. No inspection and then setting up a time to come back. He was able to jump right on it. He made me feel heard and gave me options and was incredibly kind. He educated me on all the part of a garage door system (I feel like I know so much about garage doors now!) and I felt good about it. Install perfect, only negative thing is I was disappointed that the sales person didn’t tell me that double insulated glass was available for my windowed panels. One of the reasons to buy an R19 door, why not put insulated glass panels in it. Never mentioned it, very disappointed. Now stuck with the extra cost to change out the glass and trim. Also said that the installation guy(very professional installer) would install the codes in my two vehicles. That was false. Makes one feel like they just want to sell you that door. He knew this garage was going to be air conditioned and the insulation factor was one of the reasons to change the door in the first place, why not mention insulated glass panels.Otherwise very happy, doors are quiet, operation smooth, adjustments prefect, all remotes work.

They were running late due to the first job of the day, and they actually called me to let me know they are running behind...nice to see there is still customer service in Vegas! The technician was very knowledgeable and and he finished in the time that he said he would.He also sprayed the garage door to make it run smoother and quieter. It was incredibly easy to set up the appointment online. Jason Patterson was my technician and I was impressed with the entire experience. He called to let me know when he was 20 mins out, showed and explained to me all of the adjustments he was doing, then he explained to me exactly what would fix the issue I was having. He ended up doing a spring swap and a small adjustment to the rails, which took him less than an hour and fixed everything. There were multiple options available and he explained each, along with the pricing. I ended up spending a bit more than I had hoped, but it was what was needed to get it fixed professionally. A1 was absolutely amazing. Prior to arriving I received a text with information about the technician and was able to see how long it would take him to arrive. It also gave me a picture of the technician so I knew who to expect. In addition to that I also received a call letting me know he was on his way. The 2 gentleman were very knowledgable about what I needed as well as gave me information about the features of the opener. I was able to get a new garage door opener and installed. Instillation was very quick. The gentleman were very respectful by wearing their face masks as well. I would absolutely recommend them.
