I liked scheduling my service appointment online and I was pleasantly surprised to find a Sunday appointment slot at no extra charge. The technician, Jeremiah, was very pleasant and took the time to explain what services he recommended and why. He even showed me the parts that he had replaced. My tech was VERY knowledgeable. Besides the bow in my garage door caused when I hit it, he noticed the door starting to crack snd suggested a brace to distribute the force when lifting the door. He noticed the springs were rusted and the bearings shot. I elected to replace these parts to insure I had a safe operating door. I was very happy with his service. Very polite as well

Fernando did an outstanding job. Upon initial examination, he said we would need to consider replacing the 30+year old door in the next couple of years. The service was excellent. Jeremiah was knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. I really like the text I got before the appointment which showed a picture and short bio of Jeremiah. My garage door is old and needed a lot of work, so I would have liked to have known of all the possible repairs before any work began. I was quoted one price for the issue that I called for, but with every step of the inspection, the price went up. I wrote a check for what I thought was the final cost, only to be told that I needed yet another part replaced. By the time it was over, the original quote was nearly doubled. I believe it was all legitimate and my poor old door needed everything I got, but the process and original quote could have been presented better.

Amazing service! Blake was INCREDIBLE and so kind. The door required much more work than we originally thought, he explained everything to us and made sure we knew our options. He was patient with our kiddo asking questions and needing our attention and he was unbothered by our dogs barking at him.Also, I loved the automated text from the company that included his name and picture so we knew exactly who to expect. I think this is an awesome safety feature and it's appreciated.If our garage door needs fixing we will definitely be coming back to A1 and will request Blake.

Our garage door opener torsion bar was self contained and failed. We called A-1 and had a service technician out to our home in less than 3 hours. Our technician, Robert P, was great to work with! He had a new torsion bar and springs installed within an hour and a half of him arriving and even lubricated and adjust all our other components. Would recommend A-1 to anyone with garage door needs. We just bought our home and are going through and getting major systems checked out. This company had Great service and technician. Robert was very friendly and knowledgeable about my door. He diagnosed the current state of the garage door and was able to communicate effectively on what is going on. Robert was here bright and early and quickly was able to explain to me all the repairs our door would need to resurrect it, being almost 33 years old and damaged. He was able to install new springs, wheels, bearings, new braces all the way across the door, New cables and tighten everything up. He was out of here in about three hours and saved me about half what a new system would cost. He says the repairs are solid and will last for a long long time! No sales pressure to buy a new system or anything like that. Robert knew right away that repairing this was the right thing to do, and he got it done really well! Thanks, man!

This company is able to send someone out on weekends to accommodate my work schedule, a huge plus! Nate, who is my technician, was very careful and methodical in the installation of wall trim around my doors. The price was good also. The only thing I had to say was that the dispatcher did not tell me that they charge $20 for an estimate. Luckily I had a coupon in the mail that says free estimate and so they honored it. Other than that, I still highly recommend this company because of their quality work and good prices.

Brian did an outstanding job fixing my garage door! He gave me options & was fair with the pricing. He was pleasant & very knowledgeable about the job that needed to be done. He explained the pros & cons of each option & let me chose what was within the budget. The door looks & works perfect! He turned a bad situation around for me as someone pet sitting for me hit my door by an accident. Since she was responsible for paying for the repair she thanks you as well! You made two people happy! I already gave his info out to a friend.Now Noel came out to replace a garage door opener! He was absolutely fantastic as well! The service was quick which I needed & I am happy with his excellent service. The tech, Cameron, was very friendly and professional. Was actually early. Scheduling was pretty quick. It is a call center type process but was very efficient. Was one of the highest quotes though. Just didn’t have time to wait a day and they could get to it. So I paid a nice premium.

Really appreciate the text with the techs picture and brief bio day of appt. Nice to know who is coming in advance! Josh explained the mechanics of the door system and demonstrated why certain parts should be considered for proactive replacement. There was no pressure, just information for consideration. Called for appointment to replace rubber seals. Scheduler was very courteous and was able to get us scheduled for the next day. This was not an urgent issue but happy for quick visit. Tech Jason was very pleasant, fun to work with. Ended up with almost complete overhaul of garage door lift system. A lot more than I planned at this time of year but the system sounds so much better. Would definitely work with them again.
