1. Construction

Steel

The steel series of the C.H.I. Overhead Carriage House Overlay garage doors features 2-inch thick CFC-free, polystyrene insulated base carriage house garage door sections. These doors have R-values in 10.29 for the 5300 models and 17.54 for the 5600 models. They also include accent battens that are laminated to steel sections with high performance adhesives. The interior is wood-grained steel with white pre-finish. They also come in optional faux windows with black background color and window section options.

Wood

The wood series of the C.H.I. Overhead Carriage House Overlay garage doors features 2-inch thick CFC-free, polystyrene insulated base carriage house garage door sections. These doors have R-values in 10.78 for the 5400 models and 18.03 for the 5700 models. They are available in Western Cedar or Fijian Mahogany with wide tongue-and groove boards and smooth accent battens that are laminated to steel sections with high performance adhesives. The interior is wood-grained steel with white pre-finish. They also come in square top standard with optional arched tip, optional faux windows with black background color and window section options.

Fiberglass

The fiberglass series of the C.H.I. Overhead Carriage House Overlay garage doors features 2-inch thick CFC-free, polystyrene insulated base carriage house garage door sections. These doors have R-values in 10.67 for the 5500 models and 17.92 for the 5800 models. They have tongue-and groove steel with fiberglass beadboard face and wood grain texture.

2. Design

All models include one set of Spade decorative hardware, optional Barcelona or Wrought Iron designs for that old-world look. They can also be upgraded with the Appearance Package which will ensure all hardware equipment, including struts and tracks, powder coated in white.
