Excellent service! Highly impressed with the young man that showed up to repair the door. He repaired the door and didn't try to upsell my mom into a new one. It was repairable and he did just that. And he did it at a very reasonable price. The service charge was very modest and what he charged to repair the door was incredibly fair. I would use A-1 for all my garage door needs going forward.

Called Saturday 6/3/2023 with a garage door opener issue, the chain would not stay on the sprocket. They said if possible they would send someone out that day time permitting. I did schedule for Sunday morning and they would call me before coming, which they did. Deontra and his brother showed up, introduce themselves. The were very professional and friendly, they quickly fixed the issue and recommended new rollers ( no pressure) and pointed out other issues to watch for down the road. Very happy with their work and would recommend.Devonte came back in July as the garage door was acting up and losing track for open and closing. It was an intermittent issue which was irritating for me as well for the technician. Lucky there was an error code which indicated an issue with the opener. Thank you Devonte for your troubleshooting skills and help. A1 Garage Door are lucky to have you. All technician from there have been very professional and courteous that I have had the pleasure withAgain many thanks to Devonte.

My garage door opener stopped working, I called a company that I have used in the past on other projects to come out and because I bought the unit from menards and installed it myself they wouldn’t even come look at it. I called A1 on Tuesday and they were out on Thursday. My opener was not fixable so they installed a new unit with remotes. I will be using them on all future projects. Ricky L. Was awesome. He is the reason this place got a 5 star rating which is exceedingly RARE for me to give out.He showed up on time(actually they called us to let us know 20 minutes before Ricky showed up).We discussed different options and then Ricky let me be creative because we were dealing with different issues. His flexibility was outstanding.Then the project was completed and he walked us through everything he did and inspected.The price is a bit higher than others but there is a reason why. I felt comfortable knowing Ricky did a great job for my peace of mind.

Very professional. Took the time to explain all the issues at hand and the options I had. No pressure to pick an option, just fully explained the options in great detail. Very knowledgeable in garage door springs, openers and what a door should do. I didn’t know the doors were to be balanced at the various levels.Once completed, the entire door, motor system was looked over and some tips to keep the system in tip top shape were provided. Devonte came out today to go over my options with replacing a garage door and motor. He spent time explaining all my options and even fixed my door that would not open so that I could at least open the door manually since the cord broke on one side and was not able to open garage door at all. Jeff V our installer did a great job. Explained allSteps of installation. When found out that the manufacturer did not complete door to specifications, he reviewed steps to install wrong size door now & replacing wrong panel later or just doing motor today & door later when made to correct specifications door is ready. He gave pros & cons of each & honest on possible time to get correct door panel. Very transparent & I appreciated this so I could make an informed decision. You'll immediately receive a text message and email confirming receipt of your service request.During the window of when your Technician will report, you'll receive a phone call from the Tech and another text/email that they're on the way. In addition you get a brief summary of your Tech. Once the Tech is complete you'll receive a final message following up on your service.Durig the service call, the Tech will assess the repair and will pull up the associated costs for the repair (replace springs, cables, brackets, etc). The Tech will always show you the cost and only proceed once you concur/sign their handheld tablet. They take cash, check, credit/debit cards.Our service Tech performed the work in an efficient manner and always kept me in the loop if there was another recommendation for a repair and I approved. Great customer service and the Tech was very knowledgeable and up front with everything. I would highly recommend A1 for your garage door installation or service. I have not purchased this yet but they have a maintenance program (Worry Free Club) as well where you pay a monthly fee and get discounts on future repairs/service and preventative maintenance program along with emergency service.

🙏 I want to thank A1 Garage Door Service, and especially their Technician, Devonta Antonio Roberson, for the excellent and fast service we received. The service call was initiated because of a broken cable to a spring. Upon inspection it was determined that the spring retraction system was old, weak and outdated in a house built in 1980! A new 'coil spring' system was installed rapidly, and at a reasonable price. Several payment plans were offered, and the entire transaction and installation was handled in a pleasant, professional manner! Technician Roberson was extremely professionally and knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with! I highly recommend him and A1 Garage Door Service, and will call them again when needed!

They were very professional. Our door even arrived a few weeks earlier than promised. Luis arrived on time to install our new garage door and opener. He got right to work and when he finished he cleaned everything up including the leaves and dirt that was already in the garage. He took the time to set the app up on my phone for the opener and then walked me through how to us it and to know where to look on the wall unit if for some reason there would be an error code. Had one of my cables rust and couldn't raise the garage door. A1 garage sent someone out right away. Jeese was very knowledgeable and professional. The inspection was a nice feature. He was even able to hook me up with some new springs ( ones that are actually strong enough to support more of the load).My door weighed 35 lbs prior to getting new springs! Devonta was extremely knowledgeable and went above and beyond to get our old 90s garage door fixed. We knew there were issues but he took a neutral approach at diagnosing the system as a whole and gave us various options to fix this.

He arrived same day and was able to fix the current issues we had. We had brought up the thought of replacing our entire system since it was extremely outdated, and Devanta absolutely delivered.

After acknowledging the initial issues, Devonta made a 45 minute trip each way to get the items he needed to completely upgrade our garage door system.

We hardly realized he was there while he worked away. Very kind and curtious, but still made sure to provide us with all available price point options and to help guide us in the right direction.

Jeff V our installer did a great job. Explained all Steps of installation. When found out that the manufacturer did not complete door to specifications, he reviewed steps to install wrong size door now & replacing wrong panel later or just doing motor today & door later when made to correct specifications door is ready. He gave pros & cons of each & honest on possible time to get correct door panel. Very transparent & I appreciated this so I could make an informed decision. Gave good, thorough instructions on how to use new door opener. Very knowledgeable. I wound like to request him to be our installer when our correct door size is ready. Thank you, Jeff.

After having our garage door completely fall apart, my wife and I decided to reach out to A1 Garage Door for help. We were able to schedule a visit with in 1 day that totally worked out for our schedule. A1 sent out Aaron one of their Techs to try to get our door going. Aaron was Very Polite and fully explained the issues. He was able to drop the door down and then sat down with my wife and I to further discuss our options. It was noted that the door was trash and we would need a new one. We were allowed some time to decide what could be done and Aaron set up an appointment for the weekend to help us with the door. Aaron was very Professional and with the help from JP, they offered up several options to fit with our budget. They also offered us a couple of discounts for the purchase to help control costs. We would Highly recommend A1 Garage Door! Polite Technicians and Office personnel that go the extra mile!!!

Justin was awesome, I couldn't have been happier with him and how knowledgeable and helpful he was. I'm sure there are other great technicians that work with A1, but I will be requesting Justin for any needs I have in the future. He gave me different pricing and didn't try to force me into any big purchases, but gave me those options for the future. When I go to buy a new garage door, I will be buying it from him.

Brian did an outstanding job fixing my garage door! He gave me options & was fair with the pricing. He was pleasant & very knowledgeable about the job that needed to be done. He explained the pros & cons of each option & let me chose what was within the budget. The door looks & works perfect! He turned a bad situation around for me as someone pet sitting for me hit my door by an accident. Since she was responsible for paying for the repair she thanks you as well! You made two people happy! I already gave his info out to a friend.Now Noel came out to replace a garage door opener! He was absolutely fantastic as well! The service was quick which I needed & I am happy with his excellent service. The tech, Cameron, was very friendly and professional. Was actually early. Scheduling was pretty quick. It is a call center type process but was very efficient. Was one of the highest quotes though. Just didn’t have time to wait a day and they could get to it. So I paid a nice premium.

Called for appointment to replace rubber seals. Scheduler was very courteous and was able to get us scheduled for the next day. This was not an urgent issue but happy for quick visit. Tech Jason was very pleasant, fun to work with. Ended up with almost complete overhaul of garage door lift system. A lot more than I planned at this time of year but the system sounds so much better. Would definitely work with them again.
