1. Construction
The Therma Max TM is a collection that is third in line to the Therma Tech TM line of insulated raised steel panel steel doors. It makes use of high density polystyrene insulation and is manufactured using sandwich construction. It incorporates Tongue and Groove joints between sections with Thermal Break and has a flexible vinyl joint seal. The overall thickness is 2” High Density EPS and it has R value = 12 which is really helpful during extreme weather conditions. The standard steel finish is baked on Polyester Enamel and there are four panel designs available for grabs: contemporary flush, traditional panel, ranch panel, and carriage panel. This collection even has a bottom weather seal that is made of a U-shape loop type vinyl with an adjustable aluminum retainer for maximum protection against dust and residue
For this collection, the standard width of the models ranges from 8’-0” up to 20’-0”. The height, on the other hand, ranges from 7’-0” up to 14’-0”. It is also equipped with a heavy-duty 15” or 12” radius torsion hardware, together with high quality 2” bracket-mounted track. It has quiet nylon rollers, non-corrosive door fixtures, and graduated hinges. Every double car door in this collection has U-shaped galvanized struts supplied to keep the door in perfect condition and rigid. The product also has a limited lifetime warranty for consumer’s protection and comfort.
