1. Construction

For this Amarr® there are three construction types to choose from: Oak Summit® OS 1000 which has heavy-duty exterior steel but without the insulation, Oak Summit® OS 2000 which has the same heavy-duty steel with the bonus of a layer of vinyl coated insulation that increases the thermal property and enables a quieter operation, and the Oak Summit® OS 3000 that has both the heavy-duty steel with the bonus of a layer of vinyl coated insulation, plus another layer of steel for added durability and a finished interior look. All of these three construction types are low-maintenance and durable.

Amarr® Oak Summit® garage door’s CFC-free insulation also causes a relatively higher thermal efficiency that enables a better regulated temperature, provides increased energy efficiency and noise reduction. With the featured SafeGuard System that has patented center and end hinges, exclusive safety bottom bracket, and pinch-protection sections, the safety of homeowners are improved with this exceptional garage door as it prevents serious hand and fingers injuries. Plus, this door also incorporates wind load doors that are useful in enduring high pressure with an interior wind load reinforcement system.

Amarr® Oak Summit® has R-values that range from 6.64 for Oak Summit® OS 2000 to 6.48 for Oak Summit® OS 3000. For section warranties, Oak Summit® OS 1000, Oak Summit® OS 2000, Oak Summit® OS 3000 has 15 years, 25 years, and a lifetime warranty, respectively. While for hardware warranty, on the other hand, Oak Summit® OS 1000 has 1 year, Oak Summit® OS 2000 has 5 years, while Oak Summit® OS 3000 has a lifetime warranty.

2. Design

Amarr® Oak Summit® collection is one of the most affordable garage doors produced by this brand. It has the timeless appeal of traditional carriage house styling and the simplicity that brings out the charm and the splendor of every individual’s home.
